GREEN MIST vs POWDER BASED EXTINGUISHER

EXTINGUISHING AGENT:
Green Mist Water Mist is the Extinguishing Agent.

There is no Post Fire Damage since mist evaporates completely. 100% of the extinguishing agent is used. Usage of Green Mist, provides a Cooling Effect to the atmosphere.

CONSTRUCTION OF THE FIRE EXTINGUISHER:

Green Mist Water can come out in 3 mechanisms; spray, jet and current. No need of internal coating of 'extinguisher can' to prevent rusting. The Extinguishing agent is stored at 10 bar. Extinguisher is only on Stored pressure technology.

TESTING DETAILS:
Green Mist Tested on A, B and F classes of fire. Green Mist of 6 ltrs has a rating of 8A, 34B and 40F.

EFFECTIVENESS ON ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:

Green Mist Zero ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential), no harmful effect on environment. It is a Green Product i.e. Environment Friendly.

Low usage of Extinguishing Agent i.e. 9 ltrs can work for 45 sec.

EFFECTIVENESS ON CLASSES OF FIRE:

Green Mist Can fight all classes of fires i.e. A, B, C, F and electrically induced.

ADVANTAGES OTHER THAN FIRE FIGHTING:

Green Mist Mist acts as a barrier against thermal radiation. Provides a cooling effect in the environment. Mist attaches to the smoke particles and settles them down. There is no chance of electrocution since particle size of water is too less. It can be used on electronic equipment & gazzettes without any damage.

USER FRIENDLINESS

s POWDER BASED EXTINGUISHER

Powder based extiguisher Extinguishing Agent is chemical i.e. Mono Ammonium Phosphate in MAP & Potassium Bicarbonate in Monnex. Powder forms a layer on the top of the combustible material, hence heat is trapped. Thus, the material is harmed by heat as well as by contamination with chemical. Some of the extinguishing agent is wasted. Use of Dry powder, reduces the visibility for a few minutes.

Powder based extiguisher Powder comes out as just a spray. Internal coating of can is required. The Extinguishing agent is stored at 15 bar (larger pressure, more chances of damage). The extinguisher are based on Spot Pressure too, thus reducing the effectiveness in some cases.

Powder based extiguisher Tested on only A & B classes of fire. MAP 90 of 6 kg has a rating of 21A and 55B.

Powder based extiguisher Potassium Bicarbonate, when comes out in atmosphere, gives CO2, which has a considerate ODP. Not Environment Friendly due to the chemicals present in it.

High usage of Extinguishing Agent i.e. 9 kgs can work for 18 sec.
