A Comparative Study of Awarness About Human Rights

Everyone is entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction of any kind, such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status. Furthermore, no distinction shall be made based on the political, jurisdictional, or international status of the country or territory to which a person belongs, whether it is independent, trust, non-self-governing or under any other limitation of sovereignty. For this, awareness of Human Rights is an elementary essential for human being. If one should not aware anything, how he or she can protect themselves? Consequently, awareness is a best clarification of everybody. In this way, the researchers decided that to study the relevance of the awareness of Human Rights in the students of Teacher training college. Therefore, the researcher constructed five point rating- scale (contained 20 statements) for expressive the relevance of human rights. The sample was selected randomly for data assortment. T-test were applied In favor of analyzed the data. Null Hypothesis created to find out the significant different at 0.01 and 0.05 level of significant.

Introduction: Twentieth Century seems to be a period of revolution in all the field of life. As we are living in Global World, we have certain Millennium Goals such as Human rights, Disease, Income poverty, Hunger, Maternal and child mortality, Inadequate shelter, Gender in Equality, Environmental degradation and the global partnership. Objectives: 1. To study the level of awareness of B.Ed. and P.T.C. students about Human rights. 2. To compare the level of awareness of B.Ed. and P.T.C. students about Human rights. 3. To compare the level of awareness of male and female students of B.Ed. and P.T.C. College about Human rights. Statement of the Study: A comparative study of Awareness about Human rights. Hypothesis: 1.There is a significant mean difference in the level of awareness about Human rights between students of B.Ed. and P.T.C. 2.There is a significant mean difference in the level of awareness about Human rights between all male and all female students. 3.There is a significant mean difference in the level of awareness about Human rights between male & female students of B.Ed. 4.There is a significant mean difference in the level of awareness about Human rights between male & female students of P.T.C. 5.There is a significant mean difference in the level of awareness about Human rights between male students

of B.Ed. & P.T.C. 6.There is a significant mean difference in the level of awareness about Human rights between female students of B.Ed. & P.T.C. (5) Method : (A) Sample : Out of total students of B.Ed. and P.T.C., 50-50 students of each faculty were selected randomly from College of Education Vadasma, Dist. Mehsana. In this way total 100 students were among 100 students 25 female students ware selected P.T.C. and 25 female students ware selected B.Ed. College. Same procedure was applied to selected male students from B.Ed. and P.T.C. (B) Tool : A Five point Attitude scale was prepared by researchers, which contains 20th statements, among 20th statements, 15th statements ware positive & other 05 statements were negative statements to know the level of awareness about Human rights. The range of marks was 0 to 80.Out of 80 marks, who got below 40 marks, they considered as an un favorable attitude towards Human rights awareness and who got 40 or more then 40 marks, they considered as a favorable attitude towards Human rights awareness. (C) Data Collection and Analysis : The researcher used five point Attitude scale for data collection. Later than, to analyzed the data, the Computerized Statistical Software package (Excel Windows Version - XP) was used by the researcher for testing the hypothesis. (6) Findings: 1. There is a Significant mean difference shown at 0.01

Moreover, the Male students are found to be College in respect of their Human rights awareness. better then the Female students in respect of their 6.
