Lets go the word of God, Heb 11 24, (read) The Recompense of the Reward Introduction: In my opinion, this is one

e of the most remarkable and even astounding pasages of the word of God, in order to understand this, we have to understand the introduction to these verses: The introduction is only two words By faith everything that happened thereafter was because of his faith... Faith in God and faith in the promises of God. It is important that our life story become a biography of faith, a living witness of our faith. The way we live is the way we are, and the way we are is the way we believe. We will go to heaven not by the church we enter to worship under, but by what goes on inside of us and around us when we are in the presence of God, and that is an act possible only by faith. Hebrews 11:6 says without faith it is impossible to please God. By faith when he reached the age to choose for himself: refused to be: 1. called the son of Pharaohs daughter. He refused by faith, authentic faith is not only known by what it accepts but by what it refuses. Faith not only has the ability to say yes, but also the stubborn ability to say No. 2. He refused to be called Pharaohs grandson, refused to be identified as a member of the royal family, 3. he refused to be the next Pharaoh, according to history Moses was the heir apparent and next in line to be Pharaoh but By faith he turned down the throne of Egypt and the Egyptian dynasty. 4. Verse 25 says choosing rather, In place of the dynasty, in place of the throne, in place of the title Pharaoh in front of his name he preferred something else he chose something else, in the estimation of Moses, there was something better than being Pharaoh, he chose rather. to suffer affliction with the people of God a. I dont want to live in the palace he said, I want to dwell in the tents with the Hebrews, id rather be in the tent of a Hebrew than to enjoy the pleasures of sin which are only for a season This is astounding Moses chose suffering over enjoyment, affliction over pleasure, selected hanging out with the people of God over the indulgence of sin; Rather be in prayer meeting than in a bar, In church over JS prom Prayer and fasting over feasting The pleasures of sin lasts only about summer in the north pole; Moses estimated that if he stay with the people of God, they never run out of a future and hope theres going to be always a future for the people of God it doesnt get worse and worse when you serve God, it only gets better and better whew

Sometimes by faith we have to refuse some things nobody is going to heaven unless they learn to refuse some things I want to tell you something; when you get to the holy city its gonna be worth it all How could a man choose suffering over enjoyment? How could a man choose affliction over pleasure? Verse 26 gives us additional insight Moses esteemed the reproach of Christ than all the treasures of Egypt, to esteem means to value something, it means to lift it to your personal perspective, to an exalted position, the bible said he esteemed, he valued, he looked up to the reproach of Christ and said thats greater value than all the treasures in Egypt Notice the bible didnt say he esteemed the glory or the blessings of Christ, the joy of Christ, but he esteemed the reproach of Christ in other words, he said in his mind: the worst of living for God down here is far better than anything the world has to offer the worst of living for God is better than the best the world has to offer let me say it this way; my worst day in church is better than the best day the devil can offer me in the world dont feel sorry for yourself because you are in the church you see some on facebook how different and seemingly better off their lives are compared to you dont feel sorry for yourself because your enjoyment is coming to church and speaking in tongues in Jesus name while they indulge over all that the world has to offer the worst day in the church is better than the best day in the world greet someone and say its gonna be worth it all I have chosen rather, im excieted about living for God, he esteemed the downside of being an Israelite, consider the downside of being baptized in jesus name living holy life, no pants of rladies, no js for junior seniors, no cigarettes, no liquor, no drugs, no shabu, no theatre, no etc all of these seemingly downsides are far better than all the world has to offer Moses believed in the coming Messiah and esteemed His reproaches greater riches, better than the treasures in Egypt. Historians and archaeologist have estimated the personal fortune of the Pharaoh at the time of Moses, to be worth in our money today 80-120 billion dollars wealthier than most of todays millionaires. Yet moses said that is nothing compared to the reproach of Christ Moses did not just walk away from a beautiful mansion and a brand new mercedez benz The rich man who could not part away from his riches: rammed his new MB and fell into a bridge, he swam to safety and cried for the loss of his car, a rescuer came and helped him stop crying, we are here to help, he kept crying,,, asked why he said oh my car, my car; they said but you lost your left arm, why worry about the car more than yourself, thereupon he cried even more; oh my rolex, my rolex

He walked away from the dynasty of Egypt because he had a revelation that he had something greater, there is a future day coming that will be greater by far than the treasures of Egypt.

How could a man come out of such fortune? He went and rather became a nomadic shepherd in the wilderness and discover Gods destiny for his life. How could a person come to such a choice? The \Bible does not leave us without the answer for he had respect for the recompense of the reward. He had respect not just for the reward but for the recompense RECOMPENSE IS A LEGAL TERM recompense means to:
