Introduction

This report is about my analysis of the website http://www.sammi.com.pk .which is a small

corporate website with almost 40 pages. Its main feature is online seat reservation In Pakistan.
Here I analyzed the whole website to find out the general human computer interaction issues and deficiencies. To point out some suggestion for improvement to do this work I analyzed the technologies used in developing, other aspects in terms of human computer interaction and the behaviors of pages.

1- Technologies used in website:

Static and Dynamic webpages:

I. The pages like contact, about us, FAQs, company, careers, destinations, travelling services and cargo services are static. By static we mean that the information or contents on Web pages is placed manually by Web developers. And can be changed also by web developers. There are also Dynamic webpages like News and event, Magazines, Terminal, Schedule, and Careers. The dynamic webpages are once developed then these can be changed by the user also.

Usability and accessibility analysis:

The analysis of usability and accessibility which i analyzed. As these are really important things to facilitate the users and to fulfill the requirements of the users.by usability we mean that make a

website simple and fast to navigate as possible and the information is in easily readable format. By accessibility we mean that the website should be accessible to the peoples of disabilities. During the analysis we analyzed the following points. During the first look, the text theme is not clear, so user may feel trouble in reading text. 1- These website dos not possess search box option which is the main features of any site to search related thing. 2- The contact number should also be on the home page for advance booking user can easily find contact information. 3- The site is too much overloaded with pictures on home page instead of providing useful information on the home page. 4- The news section is not continuously updated. 5- There should be some option that user can change the font colure and layout which is quite good. 6- The information provided in the website is not bitterly arranged so user fined it difficult to find related information. 7- Contents are quite good but there is repetition .No one link is broken, at every page there is home page link. 8- Coloring scheme is also good and standard.

General HCI Issues:

The general HCI issues are given below. 1- Usability This is very important issue it concerns that how useful it is and at what extent it provide all the main things according to the user requirements. I analyzed that some of the requirements are not understandable. 2- Accessibility The accessibility is main issue in this website that i analyzed that there is cross browsing effect, alternate texts are missing at some images after that I concluded that except these this possess good accessibility. 3- Maintainability This issue concerns with structured to maintain the site in future. I analyzed that we cannot easily change or update the site as it structured in tables not in frames are cuss divisions. 4- Navigation

This perspective concerns with user friendly that user find easily what they want. In this site of Daewoo user can move any page and have option to come back on home page or anyone else page so navigation effectively implemented.

5- Information User visit to find information, so the purpose of site should be clear on the home page and also all the important information which are useful to regarding user prospective, this site doesnt provide clear information on home page to the user.

Improvements and technical guidelines:

In this world nothing is perfect, this site also have some deficiencies As i have described
some point above that search facility is missing, for maintainability purpose it should use frames, div instead of table in the structure of website, and also there should be no repetition in the information content, more link is not working properly it shows the hash page which does not show the extra information there should be policies of the organization on home page, and the news should be updated continuously.

Tools we have to use for evaluating a Daewoo site are: W3C Validator: For web page link checker and CSS validator checker I use it. Hero validator: For accessibility evaluation I used Hero validator. In W3C validator tool I used link checker and CSS validator checker.
