ARNOX CONTACT CLEANER (ELECTRICAL GRADE)

SECTION 1 PRODUCT IDENTIFICATION: PRODUCT NAME : ARNOX CONTACT CLEANER (ELECTRICAL GRADE) DESCRIPTION (ORIGIN/USES) : ARNOX CONTACT CLEANER (ELECTRICAL GRADE) is designed for heavy equipment, mechanical and electrical cleaning where safety comes first, because this product is non-conductive, nonflammable , and self-evaporating. It is a powerful cleaner used in dissolving grease, oil dirt, soil and wax from electrical machinery equipment without damaging process coating, e.g. insulating varnish, paints etc. ARNOX CONTACT CLEANER (ELECTRICAL GRADE) also works on electrical equipment, machine parts, precision tools and instrument, intricate machinery, motors, electromagnetic equipment, motorized instruments, control panels, switches, tuners, and connectors. High dielectric strength. Easy to Use. Fast acting. Dissolves oils, grease and grime more effectively than petroleum based solvents. Contains no ozone depleting substances and non -corrosive. Safe for all types of metals. SECTION 2 HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION: Inhalation: Ingestion: Vapors can irritate the respiratory tract in prolonged use. Causes irritation to gastrointestinal tract. May also cause effects similar to inhalation. May cause coughing, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and dizziness. Kidney failure can result in severe cases. Prolonged and continued skin contact may cause irritation, redness and pain especially for very sensitive skin. Prolonged vapor exposure and splashes may cause severe irritation with redness and pain.

SECTION 4 FIRST AID MEASURES: Inhalation: Ingestion: Move to a well-ventilated area . If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Obtain medical attention whenever necessary. Induce vomiting immediately as directed by medical personnel. Never give anything by mouth to unconsciuos person.Obtain medical attention whenever necessary. Immediately flush skin with plenty of soap and water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Get medical attention. Wash clothing before reuse. Thoroughly clean shoes before reuse. Immediately flush eyes with plenty of soap and water for at least 15 minutes, lifting lower and upper eyelids occasionally. Get medical attention immediately.

SECTION 5 FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES: Flash point: Not Applicable. Auto-ignition Temperature: 532C (990F). Extinguishing Media Use water spray, water fog, carbon dioxide, or dry chemical Fire Fighting Instructions: Cool fire, exposed containers well after the fire is out to prevent possible explosions. Fire fighters and others who may be exposed to products of combustion should wear full fire fighting turn out gear (full Bunker Gear) and self-contained breathing apparatus (pressure demand NIOSH approved or equivalent). Firefighting equipment should be thoroughly decontaminated after use. Fire and Explosion Hazards: May decompose on contact with flames or extremely hot metal surfaces to produce toxic and corrosive products. Combustible if pressurized and exposed to extreme heat or flame. Container may explode if heated due to resulting pressure rise. SECTION 6 ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES: Evacuate enclosed spaces and disperse gas with floor-level forced-air ventilation. Exhaust vapors outdoors. Do not smoke or operate internal combustion engines. Remove flames and heating elements. SECTION 7 HANDLING AND STORAGE: Keeps out of childrens reach. Special Handling/Storage : Do not get in eyes , on skin or clothing. Avoid breathing vapor or mist. Keep container closed .Use only when adequate ventilation. Wash thoroughly after use.

SECTION 7 HANDLING AND STORAGE: (continuation) Product application: Spray surface thoroughly, using flushing action of spray when possible. Hose off with compressed air to remove dislodged dirt, grease and other particles. Use scraper, scrub brush, abrasive pad, or other appropriate means when necessary to aid in removing stubborn spots. SECTION 8 EXPOSURE CONTROL/PERSONAL PROTECTION INFORMATION: Engineering Controls: Investigate engineering techniques to reduce exposures below airborne exposure limits. Provide ventilation if necessary to control exposure levels below airborne exposure limits. If practical, use local mechanical exhaust ventilation at sources of air contamination such as open process equipment. Personal Protection: Wear suitable personal protective equipment like neoprene gloves and safety goggles with full face shield where splashing is possible.
