A One Day Course
The QAQCR training program is for the user who will be responsible for the company or site assay management and evaluation process. Participants will be shown how to evaluate their assays using QAQCR, as well hints on how to set up or fine tuning company QAQC policies and procedures. Participants will have exposure to Maxwell Best Practice procedures. At the completion of this course participants should be able to: Create customised configuration of database for QAQCR Perform assay data evaluation: viewing and interpreting graphs, creating QAQC reports Have a general understanding of assay management and QAQC processes and procedures Understand why QAQC and assay management is crucial to everyday mining and exploration practises Who should attend? All database administrators/managers; QAQC evaluators; geology managers; exploration geologists; mine geologists. QAQC Administration
QAQC terminology QA/QC terminology in relation to assay management The use of different types and uses of comparative and standard samples in the assay process. Importance of QA/QC in everyday mining and exploration environments. How to set up QA/QC policies and procedures. Setup and configuration of QAQCR Database structure and nomenclature specific to assay management. Creating a QAQCR configuration files. Modification of a QAQCR configuration file. Load data according to Projects and DataSets. Load data according to laboratory batch selection controls. Configuration of the tblLIBQCCategory, tblSYSQCReference and tblSYSQCReferenceValue tables. Loading related batches. Select batches to run in QAQCR according to the sample hierarchy diagram. Select batches to run in QAQCR according to Hole ID Standards Charts Using the controls provided on the Std Charts tab page. Ability to interpret control charts. Understanding of the statistical terms Standard deviation, Mean, CV etc Plot outliers functionality LUNCH

Repeats Charts Using the controls provided on the Repeats Chart tab page. Understanding of how to interpret the different types of repeat charts. Using Grade Ranges to plot graphs. How to use the Compare Type drop down list. Use the Bad Repeat Rule command button Use the Filter repeats command button. Screen tests Use the controls provided on the Screen Test tab page. Understand what the screen sizing tests are used for. Ability to interpret the screen test summary chart. Batch Summaries Ability to set up and interpret the laboratory turnaround chart. Ability to set up and interpret the Accept/Reject batches chart. Results Chart Creating results chart according to one or many elements. graph options setup Configuring and fine tuning the format of the graphs displayed in QAQCR. QA Reports Setting up and running QAQC report. Conclusion and questions
