Opening Greetings: o T greets students and chit-chats o T checks students attendance Everyday o T introduces himself to Ss English: Transition: Thanks everyone and now lets review what we have learned last session. Dealing with Revision: money(page 77) o T quickly reviews what students learned in previous session about a social conscience. Warm-up: o T elicits Ss by asking them what they usually do to pay a restaurant or query the amount of change when paying for drink or food.

New Headway Intermediate, 4th Edition dealing with money. Stating the objective of the lesson: After my lesson, I expect you will be able to use language in dealing with money situation. Technique 1: Listen and match the picture o T assigns number and divides them into the group of 4. o T asks them to listen the beginning of conversations and 10mns match each conversation with a photo. o T plays the whole conversations and let student check answer with their group. o T checks answers as a whole class Transition: Now you have made a good job in matching these pictures, so here is the script of these conversations. Technique 2: Fill the gap and say it out o T gives handout of conversation and lets Ss fill the gaps. o Ss work in group to fill the gap o T replay to the record and let Ss check their answers. o T elicits answers from students. o T let Ss practice the conversation in pairs in group. o T asks each group to do role play of conversation. Transition: Well done everyone, you have completed the conversation of dealing with money successfully. So now we still have to finish another important task that is vocabulary. Warm-up: o T shows the picture of burglar and robber and asks Ss how they are related. o Ss will say they have similar meaning or synonyms. Transition: You are brilliant! We are going to learn word with similar meaning. Stating the objective of the lesson: After you finish this lesson, you will be able to use word with similar meaning in suitable context.

Technique 3: Presentation o T briefly explains the synonym and near-synonym to students. Transition: Now you have learnt the synonym, so let practice what you have learnt. Technique 4: Vocabulary Matching o T asks Ss to open book on page 76 and lets them match the word in A with similar meaning in B in exercise 1. o Ss discuss in group. o After that T elicits answers from Ss. Transition: You have done very good job, now let have more practice. Technique 5: Choose the correct word with correct phrase o T asks Ss to do exercise 4 in SB p76 to choose word to match with correct use. o Ss discuss in group what word should be used within their group member. o T checks answers as whole class. Transition: Youre really working hard today, now it is almost time, so I would like to end my session now.
