Re: Wine Centrifuge We refer to our recent visit to your office and thank you for your enquiry for a machine for your new cellar. Mr Piatto the owner of Reda is very keen for us to supply a machine in the SA wine industry. Bowl completely of special stainless steel with high mechanical resistance and corrosion proof. Sludge chamber over sized to prevent long intervals between sludge discharge. Large shaft and bearings with drive pulleys with standard V belt drive. Patented spindle for longer life. Soft, quick and silent starting with frequency inverter to ramp up speed, No maintenance necessary (heavy duty star / delta motor not necessary) Result lower running cost. Covers of stainless steel

The machine is equipped with the following; all mounted on one platform a) Hydraulic control set consisting of s/s water tank, valves, filter and stainless steel pump b) Stainless steel centrifugal wine supply pump with valves c) Rotary bush filter model FS15 to remove big solid particles from grape juice. Complete with motor drive and gear box. Manual discharge. d) Hydrociclon model HC20 of stainless steel to remove sand from juice. Warranty Mechanical components are guaranteed for a period of 12 (twelve) months from delivery to site for defective materials and workmanship, with due allowance for normal wear and tear. Electrical components will be guaranteed for a period of 6 (six) months from delivery against defective materials and workmanship. Electrical components such as pilot lights, contractors and relay units which, carry no guarantee from our suppliers, are excluded from guarantee. Our guarantee covers replacement parts where applicable and labour to fit these parts. Traveling time and associated expenses such as mileage, air fares, hotels, etc. are not covered by our guarantee and will be for the customers account. Equipment supplied by Guth SA but not manufactured by Guth SA is limited in warranty and guarantee to the warranty and / or guarantee of the manufacturer and expires upon the expiration of such warranty. Any guarantee may become invalid if any person not authorised by Guth SA operates the plant beyond its design capabilities or attempts to service, repair or maintain the equipment or any components during the guarantee period.

Consequential Loss Guth SA will not be held liable for any consequential losses and consequential loss or damage of whatsoever nature is not covered by warranty or otherwise.

Documentation Documentation supplied will consist of equipment suppliers operating and maintenance manuals, a process flow diagram, if applicable, and electrical drawings for any control panels supplied.

Training Training, if applicable, will occur during the commissioning phase of the Plant. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the relevant operating staff is available for training purposes. Above this no additional time has been allocated in this contract for the training of staff.

Risk in the equipment and materials shall pass to the customer at the time of dispatch from our workshops in CT.

General Terms and Conditions of Sale Any acceptance of this quotation and any contract arising out of such acceptance is subject to Guth SA general terms and conditions of sale, a copy of which is available on request. In the event of any contradictions or discrepancy between the terms of this quotation and Guth SA general terms and conditions of sale, the terms of this quotation will prevail. Should an order be cancelled 1% of the order value will be charged to cover costs of work done in preparing the offer, other paperwork and the costs of reversing the forex ect.

Import Duties The equipment offered is at present under customs tariff heading duty free and surcharge free. Any duty or surcharge which, may be imposed at the date of delivery will be for the customers account.

Rate of Exchange - This quote was based on an exchange rate of 1 (euro) = R 11.62 However these prices are subject to re-quote on date of order. Forward cover can be purchased at the date of order should the customer so inform us, and the rate of exchange premium for the forward cover will be for the customers Any variation in the exchange rate at the date of order will be for the customers account.
