1. Treat other people the way you would them to treat you 2.

Honest is always the best policy 3. Dont be disheartened by criticisms in life, use them constructively instead 4. Learn from mistakes- (and dont make the same mistakes twice!) 5. Dont be afraid to experiment and try new things

6. Smile- its good for you and spreads a positive and happy vibe 7. Keep my room tidy at all times- a tidy room= a tidy mind (and a good work/chilling space) 8. There is no point in worrying, so theres no point in wasting time by worrying about everything all the time. Things always come together in the end

+ORGANISE: Dont leave things till the last minute, get them done without rushing, the outcome will be better. +Make lists and keep track of what needs doing +DONT WORRY: No matter what it is, worrying only makes you feel worse...life should be stress free + A good deed goes a long way, help people out, be kind, be generous, be helpful, the favour will be returned

I will... I will strive to create work both mentally and visually engaging. I will aim to never claim I know it all. I will always keep an open mind but have my own informed opinions. I will always work for the good of people over the good of wealthy pockets.

I will accept my flaws and learn from them.

- I will be more efficient with my time; there are only so many hours in a day, you need to make the most of them. - I will be organised at all times; a tidy environment gives room for inspiration - I will take more advantage of opportunities given to me; never say no to something that might lead to something better - I will not let things get me down; we have one life so make the most of it

- I will not get into debt (Bruce Maus inspiration). Financial control leads to creative control. - I will enjoy life and not worry about the future; live every day as it comes - I will not be afraid of making mistakes; everyone makes them its how we move on thats important

- I will focus more heavily on my design studies; remember to take advantage of design education and opportunities that I come across - I will listen carefully to what others have to say; then I will decide whether to act upon their advice - I will laugh; laughter is an unbelievable act that is healthy and changes the way we view the world.

1_ I will learn something new everyday. This could be design related, or general learning. This could be practical learning, trying new techniques and methods or reading etc. This relates to the PPP module. 2_ I will improve my presentation techniques. From photography that I use on my blog, module hand-ins and spoken presentations.

3_ I will find a new designer/artist work daily. This will allow me to improve my scope/ knowledge on the subject. 4_ I will follow more self-directed projects. This will help me implement the new techniques I will be learning. 5_ I will draw more. I need to improve my drawing skills, it is a big weakness in my design work. I have made steps to improve this during the Design Process module. I will continue to practice my drawing daily.

6_ Ask questions. Sounds simple, but asking questions rather than running to google. Essentially, vary research methods. 7_ Work, work, work. There is no avoiding the fact that to improve, I need to do more work. I need to read more, see more, design more, go to more places. Generally work my ass off from now until the end of my life.

1.I WILL note my thought processes more so i remember ideas from on the go 2.I WILL stick to my guts 3.I WILL do what i can to help other people 4.I WILL learn to let go and accept to discard ideas 5.I WILL do whatever will make me happy

1. From my experience this year I have made a list of concise points I think are relevant to my design practice. 2. Be nice to people. I think if your design is good and you make your self approachable people will approach you with various opportunity. More people will approach you then someone who is also good but intimidating. 3.Be your own person. It is good to get feedback and advice but if you really feel strongly about something make your own decision. Whats the worst that can happen. 4. Try something new. Whether it be mediums, media and or techniques. The more you explore the more experience you will have.

5. Make lists. Lots of people say making lists is good and I agree. Once you can see what needs to be done written down personally it makes whats needs to be done manageable. Also crossing things off the list like your name is Earl is very very satisfying. 6. Try not to worry. This bit of theory I got from the film Oldboy. People are only scared of something if they imagine or picture the consequences or negative result of the occurring action. If something is worth worrying about do what you can. If you have done something about it and there is nothing else you can possibly do, dismiss it from your mind.

7. Travel and experience. Try and built a wealth of interesting experiences, hobbys, relationships, cultures, countrys. This serves as inspiration and is also fun. If you worked everyday at your desk your work would be shit. 9. Try and keep a visual diary. I generally forget what I get up to, not because its boring, just because my memory is rubbish. I think photography is a good way of keeping a visual diary. 10.Set yourself goals. Long term goals and short term goals. For example, short term goal - get your work or blog you follow. Long term goal - get your work published in a printed publication.

1. Be committed and plan your time. If you feel you dont have enough time. Stop watching TV. Stop social networking. Stop Procrastinating. 2. Stop worrying about everything! Worrying solves nothing! Do something. Do as much as you can but dont worry! 3. Dont be afraid to fail! Its not embarrassing to fail, it shows your not afraid to take a risk. Have the balls to do what you want. Experiment with design and break the rules. The best designers think outside the box. Learn from your mistakes.

4. Keep travelling, Keep experiencing different cultures and environments. Keep getting inspired by the world around you. Leave the past behind and move forward. 5. Work with people. Being a designer is a social amusement park. Collaborate, Collaborate, Collaborate. Work with as many people from as many different backgrounds as you can. Work together and bounce ideas off each other, inspire each other. 6.Learn something new every day and keep a diary of everything! Take a photo every day and make a visual diary!

7. BE KIND to people and treat others how i want to be treated. Good things happen from kindness. Aim to do at least one kind deed every day. Keep the good karma on my side. 8. Make lists. Set goals and plans regularly from what i want to achieve! wether that is daily, weekly, monthly, yearly.

1..I need to understand that all design happens within a context, otherwise there wouldnt be relevant communication. If it doesnt take context into account. its useless. 2..Balance my solutions with the problems. This means I need to take into account my ability to be clever with the ability to be smart. 3..My mistakes arent useless, theyre a reminder of what not to do next time.

4..Never think the futures going to be better, act now. 5..Examine how I can use what already exists to better ends. 6..Accept that change will happen.

I will give better critique of my peers work which is more critical, more evaluative, remain positive yet constructive which will help to transfer these skills into critiquing my own work and also receiving and responding to critique I receive.

I will always be open and honest with my peers, and I will respect their opinions when they provide me with honest feedback. I will always aim to be daring and innovative when creating designs, so that my work is not simply a recycled idea. I will always have a goal to work towards, whether it is a personal or a professional aim.
