Super Speed USB3.0 Flash Memory Controller

The SM3260 is the USB3.0/USB2.0 Flash drive controller that combines high compatibility and high performance to support dual -channel SLC, MLC and TLC NAND-type Flash memory in one chip. The controller also supports high speed Toggle mode and ONFI 2.x DDR NAND Flash. Based on 0.11m fabrication technology and low-power consumption considerations, the SM3260 complies with USB3.0 power specifications for bus-powered devices. In conjunction with USB3.0 Flash drive applications, the SM3260 supports high capacity (up to 16 Flash devices) with small form factors, write protection functionality, PC boot-up from USB Flash drive, password protection, IEEE 1667 password silo function, and secured partitioning functions. The SM3260 delivers high data transfer rate, and ensures data accuracy and reliability with the powerful ECC engine which can overcome the read/write disturbances in 3xnm and 2xnm MLC / TLC flash. The SM3260 is available for QFN 64 pin(4CE per channel) / 88 pin(8CE per channel) package with a manufacturing-ready turnkey solution. Applications
