SURVEY PROCEDURES
The survey was carried out in accordance with the procedures set out under Section 3 and Section 4 of the Environmental Protection and Management (Boundary Noise Limits for Factory Premises) Regulations 2008. The noise levels emitted from the premises were monitored according to the requirements of the Regulations, as follows: a) The equivalent continuous noise level over the specified periods in Part I of the First Schedule of the Regulations. The equivalent continuous noise level over 5 minutes in Part II of the First Schedule of the Regulations.
b)
Sound level meters used for the survey conformed to the requirements of the Regulations and were calibrated prior to use.
4.
RESULTS
Noise measurements were taken over the specified periods for all the monitoring points shown in Table 1 and Table 2.
Equivalent Continuous Sound Pressure Levels, or Leq(5min) were monitored and results plotted in Charts no1 to 4 , respectively.

SUMMARY NOISE LEVELS FOR SPECIFIED PERIODS Boundary noise levels at all the monitoring points for all the 3 specified periods were found to be within the limits set out in the Regulations for noise level due to the Source. For Points 4 to 7, noise from PIE was excluded from the results to reflect the ambient noise levels. NOISE LEVELS OVER 5 MINUTES PERIODS 5 minutes Leq Noise levels for all the 3 specified periods were found to be within the limits set out in the Regulations at all the monitoring points.
6.
CONCLUSION The boundary noise survey for M/s Advanced Micro Devices (S) Pte Ltd was carried out as described in this report and the results presented herein. Boundary noise limits are found to be within the limits set out by the Environmental Protection and Management (Boundary Noise Limits for Factory Premises) Regulations 2008 at all the ten (10) noise monitoring points around the premises.
