HOW WE CAN CONNECT DISTANT LOCATIONS A connection covering various office locations in different geographic locations is what fully leverages the benefits of this CyvotelPBX Hosted solution. This is explained in the following bulleted points below.

If our VOIP networks are installed in different geographical locations, each different geographical location will have its own server that is connected to the wider network. Each separate server will have its own separate GSM module and incoming dial numbers. Each server in each different geographic location will be connected via a dedicated internet connection or a dedicated network created via WIMAX technology to connect the locations. After adequate traffic engineering, the bandwidth of the needed internet connection between servers in the different geographic locations will be determined. Once all servers from all different geographic locations are connected together, all calls made internally, and originating from any node in the wide network will be placed FREE if the call is to another node in the wider network. Another exciting feature is the follow me via GSM network. If a very important call is placed to a phone inside the network and the follow me option is enabled, the call will be forwarded to a registered cell phone number. That call will be charged at the normal GSM rate. Note: Depending on the support plan, a certain amount of unit (airtime) will be put in the GSM Module SIMs to enable call out and follow me options.

CALL SYSTEM FEATURES Call recording This feature will allow the admin to be able to record voice calls by setting the controls from the internal server. Conference Calling This feature will enable a telephone call in which the calling party wishes to have more than one called party involved in the call. It can be designed to allow the called party to participate during the call, or the call may be setup so that the called party merely listens into the call and cannot speak. Functional Voicemail Each IP phone/node can be programmed to include their personal voicemail boxes. Call detailed record This feature allows viewing of detailed call record that will include time of call, duration of call and other call information. Voicemail-to-Email functionality This system can be configured to copy a nodes voicemail to a specified email address. This can be useful when the user is unavailable but has internet access that can be used to read voicemails. Supported codecs: ADPCM, G.711 (A-Law & ) Interactive voice response system This system can be configured for auto response or auto secretary. Call Forward, Call waiting, Call Transfer Call Forwarding is a feature that allows an incoming call to a called party, which would be otherwise unavailable, to be redirected to a mobile phone or other telephone number where the desired party is situated. Call waiting is a feature that allows a calling party to place a call to a called party which is otherwise engaged, and the called party has the call waiting feature enabled, the called party is able to suspend the current telephone call and switch to the new incoming call. Call transfer is a mechanism that enables a user to relocate an existing call to another telephone or attendant console by using the transfer button and dialing the required location. The transferred call is either announced or unannounced. Support for digital interfaces (E1/T1/J1) through PRI/BRI/R2 protocols. Automated Attendant An automated attendant allows callers to be automatically transferred to an extension without the intervention of an operator (or a receptionist). An automated attendant can also have a pre-recorded greeting and offer a simple menu system (for directors office, press 1, for sales office, press 2 etc). Caller ID Integrated echo canceller by software Multiple trunk support Music on hold This would support the business practice of playing recorded music to fill the silence that would be heard by telephone callers who have been placed on hold. Direct Inward System Access (DISA) DISA will support the Direct Inward dialing (DID) mechanism. Direct Inward dialing provides one or more trunk lines to the user and allocates a range or telephone numbers to this/these line(s) and forwards all calls to such numbers via the trunk. When a call is placed, the PBX system will route the call directly to the desired extension within the organization without the need for an operator or attendant. Capacity building services will be provided to your organization to ensure that all personnel that will use the phone/system will know exactly how to use it to achieve their purpose. ONGOING SUPPORT AND M AINTENANCE

To ensure smooth running of the system deployed, Xangee Technologies support plan will be provided with the financial proposal and is subject to review and may change in light of new developments that may emerge. Once the initial roll-out of the Hosted PBX Solution is complete, the maintenance phase begins. The success of this phase depends on the level of acceptance by the end-users and proper support to ensure smooth usage of the system. Cyvotel Communications will be responsible for the support to your organization according to the support plan agreed on during the specified period of the support proposed. Periodic preventive and corrective maintenance will also be carried out on applications and hardware to ensure that they are up to date and in good working condition.
