To develop interest of students in Mathematics. 2. To develop critical thinking among students. 3. To develop the moral value among the students.
Specific objectives
Student would be able to explain about Right Circular Cylinder. 1. Question Method 2. Method of Explaining. : 1. Simple of complex 2. Known to Unknown 3. Whole of part.
P.K.Testing
: 1. What is this? ( Showing Rectangle) 2. How will you find out the area of a rectangle?
Announcement The topic : Student, today we will discuss about right circular Cylinder we shall find its total surface area too.
Teaching Point Pupil Teacher Activity Right Circular cylinder: A Right Circular Pupil teacher will tell the students about the cylinder is that which has two equal circular definition of the cylinder and Right Circular planes, parallel to each other. These circular cylinder. planes are called bases of cylinder. The line segment joining two centers of two base is called the axis of cylinder.
If r is the radius and h is the height of the cylinder. Total area of Right Circular cylinder= Area of first part+ Aera of Second Part + Area of third part = Area of Circle + Area of Rectangle + Area of Circle 2 2 = r + 2 rh+ r
=

Pupil teacher will ask about the area of the rectangle and circle.
Example : If radius of cylinder is 7 cm and height is 14 cm then find the total area of the cylinder? Solution:
Example : If radius of cylinder is 7 cm and height is 14 cm then find the total area of the cylinder? Solution:
1. What is the Right Circular Cylinder? 2. What is the Area of Right Circular Cylinder? Pupil Teacher will give sums of Exercise 13.1 to Solve.
