Win
When you bet a horse to win, you win only if your horse nishes rst. When you bet a horse to place, you win if your horse nishes in rst or second place.

To win in Exacta wagering, you must pick the horse nishing rst and the horse nishing second in the exact order. To win the trifecta, you must choose the rst-, second- and third-place nishers in the correct order. 50-cent minimum bet. DERBY TRAFFIC CHANGES


Miller Trailways shuttle will run from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Derby Day. The cost is $20 round trip from downtown, $10 round trip from Papa Johns Cardinal Stadium and $15 from the Kentucky Exposition Center. Pick up and drop off point

Churchill Downs and local authorities have trimmed the list of items track visitors can carry in for the Kentucky Derby.

SECURITY

Horses bet must nish rst in three consecutive races. The bet is available starting with the rst race. If no one selects all three winners, the pool will be distributed to the people picking the highest number of winners of the three designated races. 50-cent minimum. Horses bet must nish rst in four consecutive races. Available starting with races 2, 4, 8 and 10 on Derby Day. If no one selects all four winners, the pool will be distributed to the people picking the highest number of winners of the four designated races. 50-cent minimum. Horses bet must nish rst in ve consecutive races. Available starting on race 7 on Derby Day. If no one selects all ve winners, the pool will be distributed to people picking the most winners on the designated races. 50-cent minimum. Horses must nish rst in six consecutive races, beginning with race 6 on Derby Day. If no one selects all six winners, 25 percent of the net pool will be distributed to the people picking the most winners of the six designated races. The other 75 percent is a carryover into the Pick Six pool wagered on the next day of racing.

Horses must nish rst, second, third, fourth and fth in exact order. If no one wins, the pool will carry over to the next day. Usually for the last race each day, the $1 wager will be available on the Kentucky Derby.
