foreign language knowledge and develop team
skills. Obviously they get to know the pupils working
in the different countries involved. eU-Topical is our
second project with the four partner schools. An
earlier project was rewarded in Poland in June 2008.
We hope that the judges will like this newsletter as

Cinema, Kino, Kina, Cine – we all love it !

Over the past month the
fours schools in the eTwin-
ning project have conducted
a survey into our cinema
habits. We are proud to
present our results
The English are most likely to walk
out of a film before it has finished !
However, the Spanish go to the
cinema most often.
Even though the Germans do not
go to the cinema as often as the
Spanish, they have to travel the
shortest distance to get to their
local cinema.

But what types of films do we like
to watch? Well the English like to
laugh and for the Poles too, come-
dies are the most popular type of
films. Germany, however, prefer
action.
The English are most annoyed by
the high prices for snacks and pre-

John McCain und Barack Obama are
in the news everyday at the mo-
ment. Everyone is speaking about
the elections - even in Europe,
thousands of kilometers from the
USA. What is so special about the
USA and its presidents?
The USA is regarded as a world
leader. Firstly because it is a rich
country and that alone makes it
powerful. It produces buys and
sells more than any other country
and has a large, powerful army.
Criticism of US Politics in its politics. Whoever wins the US
election in November will control
