Nabil Toor this is the worst and most unethical tactic ever; forcing people to attend your seminars. Saturday at 6:21pm Like 4

Shoaib Qureshi Dear CIL, Your "Notice" above lacks respect. It is drafted with pestered, irritated and annoyed feelings. The students are free souls and you cannot "direct" them. If you think you are providing a service which is very valuable you have to prove it first to them be being in the cutting edge of recruitment and placement. It takes hard work, passion and specially a lot of compassion to what are the needs of the students. 9 hours ago Unlike 16

Shoaib Qureshi Also, to add here, please spell check your notices before posting and yes, if you are on facebook with an open page, IT IS A PLATFORM FOR CHIT CHAT, after all, what does facebook stands for? 9 hours ago Unlike 13

Fseeha Rizvi I'm afraid if a university fails to respect it's students, it's a clear signal to the job market that it's students are worthless and are flagged for non-hires. This social platform is ideal to highlight strengths of the students at NUST and promote intellectual discussion. If NUST is not ready to take on the challenges of social media, which include questions, disagreements and negative reviews, I suggest taking this page off Facebook and reverting to bulletin board notices to communicate internally to students. Please consider the image you are portraying to the job market- by making such curt remarks, you are also devaluing your alumni which is already spreading a positive WoM for NUST in the market. 9 hours ago Unlike 7

Marya Javed CIL really needs some perspective on how to go about doing its job. About time we started practicing what we preach- all that is wrong with your notice here was taught to us in our first management course. Glad to have had some great teachers!! 8 hours ago Unlike 3

Zainab Abdul Malik This is extremely disappointing! How can you disgrace your own students. You should be able to take positive criticism. 8 hours ago Unlike 2

Aymen Abdullah Warning? If you don't save your resume in this painfully conformist manner, I will make no effort to help you find a good job? This is what the students mean to you? Placement is WHY you're there, it's the ONLY thing you're supposed to get done, it's what you get paid for. Please get your primary job objective right - and angering the youth is not a good place to start. 8 hours ago Unlike 8

Aymen Abdullah Can I please know who is managing this forum? I am very disappointed in the image you're portraying of NUST - this is not what we are taught and this is not where we come from. 8 hours ago Unlike 7

Shaheer Khan If such authoritarian (Nazi) methods are being used to extort students to get YOUR job done, then I'm afraid CIL isn't doing it's job. It's pretty much standard practice that students venture out on their own for jobs and not rely much on CIL. Yes, we understand CIL may lack resources, but clearly, this is not the way to treat people. This is not the way to treat your own students - who are leaving your university and stepping into the professional life - because they're the ones who choose to promote you. Or not. And this is one instance where respect is given, not commanded. In addition to the fact that the aforementioned post was a rush job, lacking a spell checker and formatting. If this is NUST, then I'm terribly sorry for the state of affairs - of a UNIVERSITY!
