TOUGH TIMES

Even when life is tough, you can trust God to help you survive and thrive. When you have nothing left but God, then for the first time you become are that God is enough. One of the the greatest heroes of faith is the Apostle Paul. Churches, hospitals, schools, and even cities are names after him to honor his great contributions to the church of Jesus Christ. He wrote thirteen letters in New Testament, and almost half of the book of Acts. You would think that a man who was that powerful probably had everything go his way. But that is not the case, he had an incredibly tough life. In fact, one Roman historian described him as a short, red-headed, ugly man. Some of the really bad things that happened to him were: He was shipwrecked. He was attacked by a mob who didnt like his teaching and left for dead. He was imprisoned for being a Christian. He was criticized by church people who liked other leaders better. He even had physical problems. Despite all these incredible difficulties, Paul was joyful (Phil 2:29 Welcome him in the Lord with great joy, and honor men like him,)--- and he trusted God to take care of him and make him a conqueror. 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.)
When life is tough, our souls get discouraged. Dont give up and lose faith. You can trust God!

Berry! May story pa after ditto eh. Haha. Pero kwento mo nalang. Parang may isang guy. As in super good guy. Christian sya. Maayos life nya. Then one day, na fulfill ung isang dream pa nya, mag helicopter ski trip, tapos nung drinop na sila ng pilot. Sa snow ganyan, mas na feel nyang sobrang close nya kay God. Mas nrealize nya kung gano ka awesome si God sa mga things na ginawa nya. Then after that trip, his back began to hurt. And since, usually di sya nag wworry sa ganun kasi common sakanya un. Pero that time, iba ung hurt. I mean, ibang klaseng sakit ung naramdaman nya. So he told his mom, and medyo dir in sya na bother, pero since ibang klaseng pag sakit, dinala sya sa doctor. Then, test after test, sabi ng doctor, It looks like a large tumor. It may be malignant. It means, MALALA. So ung family nya, sobrang hinelp sya. Sobrang supportive, after all. Alam mo un, nagging good sya, nag serve sya kay Lord, BUT STILL, eto ung nreceive nya. Ang sinabi nya lang. Lord Jesus, help me. Inoperahan sya. And nag hhope sila na wala. But still, it didnt turn out the way they hoped. It was a malignant nine-pound tumor attached in the aorta artery. I couldnt get it all because you started to hemorrhage. Sobrang na hurt sya nung narinig nya un. I didnt know why God would allow this to happen. I had so much to live for. He fought back by claiming Gods promise in Jeremiah 29:11. Hundreds prayed for himas he underwent to chemotherapy and second major surgery. Sabi nya, I trust you, Lord. Even if your answer is no. Then he kept his eyes in the future, not on fear of death but on hope for life. GODS ANSWER WAS YES. Now, hes already healthy, free to work, and snowboard again. YAHUU! Love you! >:D< Kaya mo yan!
