Background: Shirtco.com is a souvenir shop located in 3 different locations; Juneau, Skagway and Seattle where tourists and local customers can purchase accessories, postcards and specialized clothing. Target Audience:

Persona - I
The Tourist Name: Michiko Tamaguchi Background Mid-20, lives in Japan and as an office worker Scenario Michiko needed to use her vacation days and decided to plan a trip to the US. The vacation package that she purchased includes a one day trip to Seattle, Washington. She arrived in Pier55 Waterfront and she was overjoyed to find that there are 3 different major souvenir shops. She has promised all of her co-workers that she will purchase souvenirs for each of them. As shes about to pay for her purchase in Simply Seattle, Michiko realized that she could not afford to pay for all her purchases. Voice I entered Pier55 Shirtco and was overjoyed to find out that they had a $0.99 bin full of souvenirs. Though I didnt have time to make sure I purchased enough souvenirs for everyone, fortunately, Shirtco had an online cart.

Persona - II
The Local Name: Jennifer Smith Background 40 years old, 4 kids. Scenario Jennifer decided to attend a special event in downtown Seattle and brought her kids along. School would be starting soon and Jennifer wanted to take her kids to the Seattle Aquarium. After the visit, her kids wanted to purchase souvenirs for their friends. They went inside Shirtco and the first item that caught Jennifers eyes was the sale sign for the reversible jacket. It was only $19.99! She wanted to purchase two jackets; one for herself and one for her sister, but in the end, she decided to get only one jacket. She told her sister about their online store. Her sister could then shop in their online store for her own jacket. Voice I saw the reversible jacket for $19.99 and I couldnt believe how inexpensive it was. The jacket was very warm and had high quality materials. Im very happy that they also have an online cart in case my sister wants to order one for herself.

Persona - III
The New Customer Name: John McCoy Background Early 20s, obsessed with Deadliest Catch Scenario John doesnt like to travel. Instead, he prefers to stay home and watch reruns of Deadliest Catch. Hes a little jealous that his co-worker and his family went on a trip to Seattle and met one of the Captains from the show. However, it was not enough to motivate him to go to Seattle. When his co-worker decided to wear one of the souvenirs that he bought at Pier55 Shirtco, John was livid with jealousy. He wanted the shirt. He searched for an online store and found Shirtco. Voice I didnt have to go to Seattle to buy my shirt from the Deadliest Catch. Shirtco had an excellent online store that made my purchase easy.
