Example for your reference: Dream: I want to be very successful in my career Goal: I want to be Worldwide CEO of a multinational in Retail Sector by 2035 Milestone Goal: To be a direct reportee of the Chairman and Managing Director by 2032 Milestone Goal: To become a part of worldwide executive leadership team by 2030 after heading P&Ls for at least 2 regions like Europe/ APAC etc. Milestone Goal: To move up to Executive Leadership level by 2026 with P&L responsibilities for more than one country. This role would look like Regional Head India and Middle East Milestone Goal: Be at a senior management role by 2023 with P&L responsibilities. A Vice President/ General Manager kind of a role where i will be responsible for P&L for a country Milestone Goal: To be a senior middle level manager by 2021. This position might look like head of stores for a small region with Profit and Loss responsibilities Milestone Goal: To be at a middle management level by 2019. This might look like a Head of a store at a smaller location or a zonal head (sales) kind of a role. Milestone Goal: Ensure movement from an individual contributor to a team contributor in first two years of my work career that is by 2017.
