Monitoring a T24 system is one of the most difficult tasks today

Information is scattered around T24 system in all layers of the architecture, there is no single console which can consolidate all data available and display with meaningful structure, different groups of people involved in the bank (like T24 Admin, COB operators, system admin, T24 support team and Audit team) require different information to act. Preventive maintenance avoids many crucial problems and a high level monitoring product, which is ready to integrate with the banks enterprise monitoring solution, should contain the following components: Custom plug-in which enables the client to add their own monitoring information to the monitoring solution and it keeps the product open for customization. Nagios Integration
t-MC can readily integrate with Nagios and send alerts to the Nagios host by using a passive client. This proves very useful for system admins who will be able to see the system from a higher perspective and then T24 admins can go into details of the alerts from the t-MC main view.

t-MC Display - Architecture

t-MC Display is constituted by number of frames. Each frame contains specific data and functionality behind it. Each frame can be switched on and off based on requirement. Each frame has both normal and full Screen Mode. A frame can be associated to a specific Profile which will help to design different dashboard for each profile (like COB operator, admin, Audit, Tech support). Normal screen will have limited information and FULL Screen will have more information which will help the USER to make decision. Frame and its contents will automatically adjust to the screen settings. Based on screen resolution settings display will be adjusted automatically to best fit to the screen. Frame Additions
In addition to existing frames, new frames can be added to show mw42 output or output for COMO, etc. Very helpful for COB monitoring. This frame will be automatically opened based on the user request to display any commands executed by operator/admin This can be used to monitor system commands like mw42, sar, iostat, tail -f COMO/ etc Which will help to understand a specific issue or analysis Multiple commands can be given with ! delimiter like mw42 1 0!tail -10 &COMO&/ This frame is purely a way to check specific information without the need to come out of the t-MC Display every time Any commands which was possible to run in jShell or UNIX shell can be given, only restriction is that the command given should return the control to t-MC after every refresh. So commands which runs continuously shouldnt be given like eg. tail f or vmstat, etc.
