A History Lesson for Idiots!!!

In the early years of the 1930's a man came to power in Europe that would change the world forever. His name was Adolf Hitler. The stock market in the United States crashed on 24 October 1929. The impact in Germany was dire: millions were thrown out of work and several major banks collapsed. Hitler prepared to take advantage of the emergency to gain support for their party. They promised to repudiate the Versailles treaty, strengthen the economy, and provide jobs. Extreme nationalism became the cry of the Nazi party. But they needed an enemy to rally the people against. They found that enemy in the communist party. Spreading lies and misinformation to the general population Hitler became supreme leader of Germany and outlawed the communist and socialist parties. Hitler now needed a new enemy but also needed money. He found both in the Jewish population. Blaming the Jews for the state of the economy Hitler called them enemies of the state. Laws were passed that allowed the state to arrest these enemies and transfer their assets to the state. Hitler also identified other groups of people that were a drain on the German economy. He started eliminating those people in mental hospitals as well as withholding medical treatment for the elderly and the terminally ill. Using the money that was being seized Hitler created a large scale public works program to rebuild the infrastructure of Germany. Because of these programs, wages fell by 5% while the cost of living increased 25%. Now in 1938 Adolf Hitler was selected Time Magazine Man of the Year!!! Then September 1st, 1939 all hell broke loose as Germany invaded Poland. And so a man named Man of the Year in 1938 became the most hated man in the modern era. World War 2 ended on September 2, 1945. As the German atrocities were discovered the nations of the world vowed NEVER AGAIN!!! The United States became the police nation of the world and soon created a new threat called communism. In the 50s we rallied around our leaders as they fought the cold war. But then suddenly the cold war was over. Peace had come to the world. This didn't sit well with our leaders. The citizens were clamoring for a reduction in our armed forces. We became more interested in what was going on at home and found that our great nation was being taken over by the mega corporation. What to do? What to do? Fast forward September 11, 2001 The United States economy was in shambles. The government needed a new enemy. As luck would have it, they found one in Islam. Our leaders preached war and just like the Germans so many years before we worked ourselves into a frenzy and blindly followed. Ten years later and the war continues as we invade mare and more countries. All in the name of eliminating terror. Although the path is much slower than what we saw in Germany, it is happening. We have identified our enemy and even have a backup enemy in the Hispanic immigrants. The government is slowly taking away our freedom in laws such as the Patriot Act. Our American way of life is slowly being taken away, replaced by a model that is eerily similar to Nazi Germany. The only thing missing is the charismatic leader that steps in to take complete control. Will it happen? Only if you let it. So what can you do? Well don't do what the Germans did, Nothing. Stand up for those people that the government is persecuting. Yes, even if you don't agree with their politics or religion. Who knows, you might be next. Then we need to get these idiots out of political office. This means all of them. No one should serve more than one term in political office. This is true at the local level as well as the national level. Keep turning over the elected officials. Then we need to roll back our laws 40 or 50 years. Lets get back to a time when life was good in this country. It's time for each and every one of us to make a

difference before it's too late!
