Overview
This user guide has been created to illustrate how 1) Straight2Bank Web Telegraphic Transfer (TT) can be initiated using the new screen

1. New Straight2Bank Web Telegraphic Transfer (TT) Screen


New TT Screens will be introduced from 25th of Sep 2011. The TT screens for the above-mentioned have been improved to make it easy to use by Facilitating easy data entry in a sequential manner and By intuitively leading you to the next set of TT payment information that you need to input when you are performing an online TT creation. The other key points are: The way you create, batch and authorize TT payments in Straight2Bank Web will remain the same. All existing Straight2Bank Web TT templates that you have created and Straight2Bank Web TT Bulk Import File Format can still be used after the introduction of the New Straight2Bank Web TT Screen.

1.1 New Telegraphic Transfer screens (For all clients except those using payment centres US, UK, Japan and Frankfurt)
Step 1: Navigate to Payments Click Telegraphic Transfer

The New TT Screen will be launched.

The initiation steps are illustrated below:


Step 1) Enter Customer Reference if applicable. Step 2) Select Payment Center Company Name Debit Account Payment / Value Date

Step 3) Click Search Payees/Beneficiaries.

From here you can either select an existing payee or create a new payee. No changes in the screens and navigation steps for selecting an existing payee or create new payee.

Step 3a) Select an existing Payee

Step 3b) Create a new Payee and save it for future use.

Based on Step 3a or Step 3b performed, the payee information will be captured.

Step 4) Select Payment Currency. Enter the Payment Amt. Step 5) Click Next

This will bring you to the Exchange Details.


Eg. Currencies pair that does not support Live FX.

Step 6 Choose the applicable option Let Bank Assign Rate Use Existing FX Contract Assign FX Later

Step 7) Specify the bearer for Local & Overseas Charges.

to expand the sections for Payment Details and Payment Memos to enter Click on applicable information for the 2 sections.

Step 8) Enter the Payment Details and/or Payment Memos if applicable.

This is fully populated new TT Screen.

No changes to the Invoices and Instructions screens.

No changes to these functions.

Please Note: Batching and authorization of the TT payments in Straight2Bank Web will remain the same.

1.2 New Telegraphic Transfer Screen (Only for clients using payment centres US, UK, Japan and Frankfurt)
Step 1: Navigate to Payments Click Telegraphic Transfer

The New MT103 TT Screen will be launched.

The initiation steps are illustrated below:
Step 1) Enter Customer Reference if applicable. Step 2) Select Payment Center Company Name Debit Account Payment / Value Date

Step 3) Click Search Payees/Beneficiaries

From here you can either select an existing payee or create a new payee. No changes in the screens and navigation steps for selecting an existing payee or create new payee.

Step 3b) Create a new Payee and save it for future use. Based on Step 3a or Step 3b performed, the payee information will be captured.
