The service contract created here will be determined when creating a service order for the same combination of data (customer and products or IBases).

Use
A contract is an agreement between customer and supplier. The contract contains products, price agreements, duration and terms of payment. The customer pays a certain price for this package and receives an agreed performance (i.e. telephone hotline 7*24, reduced prices on spare parts etc.).

Creating the Service Contract

.1 Log on to the New CRM UI with the User ID SERVICEMAN and password welcome. .2 Choose Service Contracts and navigate to Create -> Service Contract. .3 Choose the transaction type Service Contract.

.4 Enter a description for the document making it easier for you to recognize it again later.
(Please follow the rule not to use a test description unsuitable for a customer demo system.) If you do not show the billing data, please enter a date in the Contract End field corresponding to the date of your demo. This way your contract will not interfere with any other demos following yours.

In the Sold-To Party field, enter 3271. In the Product ID field of the items table, enter the product SER_021 and the quantity 1. To confirm your entries, press Enter. On the toolbar for the item table, select the Release all Items button or in the column Status of the item list choose Released in the drop down list. choose .

Note: It is possible to enter service parts in product list, but in this example we will position the service contract as more like an extended warranty to the customer that covers services

Billing of the Service Contract

Accounting -> Master Data -> Accrual Order -> Display. Or you can simply choose Display Internal Order under Favorites.

.10 Under Order, choose the F4 help. .11 On the Internal Order created from CRM Service tab page, in the Business Transaction field, enter
your Transaction Contract number.

If the Internal Order created from CRM Service tap page are not displayed, choose Internal Order created from CRM Service .13 Double-click on your Transaction Contract number.

The Planned/actual comparison screen appears .16 Check your accumulated actual revenues. (Cost element 800000, column total actual costs). Having handled service processes and confirmations with reference to your contract, you can settle the internal order as follows.

If a dialog box appears, enter the controlling area 2000. Choose . In the Order filed, the system displays your order number. If not, choose the F4 help. On the Internal Order created from CRM Service tab page, in the Business Transaction field, enter your Transaction Contract number.

If the Internal Order created from CRM Service tap page is not displayed, choose Internal Order created from CRM Service.
