Everett, Washington 98203 Dear Mr. Mclean: I am a student at the University of Idaho, studying Accounting & Finance. I expect to graduate in 2014. I am applying the internship of BDS Business & Finance for next winter break. I saw this internship post on the Boeing website. My major in accounting and finance as well as my experience in communicating with people are allow me to make an immediate contribution to Boeing Company. I studied Mass Media Production & Mass Communication at Chinese Southwest University for Nationalities three years. Through that three years study, I learned how to better communicate with others, how to quickly and correctly analyze the information from news and other media. Present, given our global economy and my ability to speak both English and Chinese, I chose to double major in Accounting and Finance. My GPA is 3.58, and this summer, I will take a business class program called IBC (Integrated Business Curriculum). This program will help me improve my skills in five different areas. I will learn more knowledge about Finance, Information Systems, Management & Human Resources, Marketing and Operations Management during this summer program. Finally, I would bring another important skill to the company: the second language of Chinese and the understanding of the current Chinese market. China is the largest foreign customer for Boeing Company, and I believe that in future decades Boeing will have more and more opportunities to cooperate with some Chinese companies.
