HIGH RANGE WATER REDUCING AND ACCELERATING SUPERPLASTICISER
DESCRIPTION MegaFlow SP103 is a very effective, high range water reducing, accelerating superplasticiser and an extremely powerful de-flocculating agent. It works by dispersing cement into its primary particles which dramatically increases the flow characteristics of the cement paste. It is based on soluble salts of a polymeric sulphonate. Type E & F of ASTM C494 and BSEN 934-2

STANDARDS USES

Uses include to produce high slump concrete for the precast industries and other types of civil engineering structures like beams, columns, slabs etc. MegaFlow SP103 is to be used where substantial water reductions are required to provide high early & ultimate strengths i.e. precast factories, prestressed concrete bridges, shotcreting, etc. Water reduction beyond 30%. Increased production at precast yards. Due to large water reduction capacity without retardation, concrete can be demoulded within 8-12hrs. at the precast industries. Significant strength increase. Increases durability by reducing permeability. Improved water born salt resistance. Chloride free and safe for use in prestressed & reinforced concrete.

COMPATIBILITY

MegaFlow SP103 can be used with all types of cements and cementitious material like flyash, GGBS, microsilica, etc. MegaFlow SP103 should not be premixed with other admixtures. Recommended dosage is 0.5 - 3% by weight of cementitious material. Higher dosage can be used after varification by conducting lab and site trials. Over dosing may result in higher workability and delay in setting. If intentionaly or accidently increased above the recommended dosages, care must be taken to allow for the effect on the stripping of formwork. In such cases however, provided the concrete is properly cured, the ultimate strength will generally be higher than the regular concrete. Shelf Life 12 months from date of production, if stored properly in original unopened packing in dry conditions, away from sunlight and scorching heat. 20L, 200L, 1000L and Bulk MegaFlow SP103 should be dispensed into the concrete mixer together with the mixing water. Clean all equipments and tools with water after use.
