Ideal for telecom and enterprise customers, the SNMP manageable converter can be employed in fiber mode conversion and/or fiber extension applications. Using high-speed XFP transceivers that are protocol independent and support multiple distances allow network operators increased flexibility when installing the iMcV-10G-Converter into their 10 GbE applications. Support for 3Rs (Re-amplify, Re-shape, Re-time) optical signal regeneration is also standard. When installed in a chassis and paired with a SNMP Management Module, network operators can monitor XFP status such as temperature, voltage, and output power, in addition to configuring features and Trap notifications. Model 860-12100 lists for $790. An SFP+ version will be available later in Q2.
