EDUCATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

ABSTRACT: Education system is important part of any nation as it helps

the students to learn etiquettes and be useful for the development of the nation as a group or an individual. Education system mainly revolves around shaping the career of the STUDENT. In order to get into a premier institution like IIMs or IITs, a student has to satisfy some requirements of the institution. For which he has to be admitted into the college which is called student registration and admission into the college. After the student getting into the college, his personal information is stored in the database and used later for many purposes. Our education management system has 3 main modules which are 1. Enterprise Resource Planning 2. Parent Relationship Management 3. Customer Relationship Management And the sub modules of ERP are Fee management, Student attendance, Staff attendance, Payroll management, Transport management, H.R management, Hostel management, Accounts management, Library management etc. These are the important modules of the school management at Enterprise level. Apart from these, we have PRM and CRM modules which manages the relationship between the management and parents, management and customers respectively.

PRM module can provide the details to the parent about their wards attendance, progress, time tables, assignments, events, remarks, any other notices etc through emails or messages sent to their mobile. It can provide the attendance of the student in weekly or monthly basis and can also send the information to the parent that his child was absent on that day. The daily work that is to be done at home by the student is also sent as message to the parent so that he can take care about the completion of the work. In every possible way, the school/college management can look in the parents perspective and provide them what they intend. The last module being CRM which focuses on the customers perspective mainly deals with how to attract the various stakeholders like students, parents and teachers. This can be done by providing innovations in their school like equipping the class rooms with digital technology, providing biometric devices for identifying the student, additional attractions in sports and games, top recruiters for the placements on campus, increasing the practical exposure for the students by providing the industrial exposure regularly etc. In this way, school can attract the stakeholders by providing all this information through mail or message. All the modules are equally important in this system and automating the education system will reduce the paper work and increase the productivity. To develop this system, we use PHP technology.
