BUSINESS WRITING

REPORTING BUDGET:
A budget is a breakdown of a spending plan. The basic goal of a well written budget report is to identify specific areas for spending the revenue of the company or the household. The most critical aspect of a budget report is an accurate understanding of your income. Business budget reports can be quarterly or monthly, based on your companys requirements, or they may be both. A budget report will show where your company or organization financially stands. A budget report should consist of a document as well as a presentation where you can answer questions and make adjustments. A successful budget report will address both past spending and future spending.

Step 1
Prepare a report of spending for the last quarter or for the last fiscal year. This report should summarize the spending in each spending category in your budget. this will provide an easy reference point.

Step 2
Build a spending forecast for the next quarter and for the remainder of the fiscal year. Include expected earnings as well as any expected expenses in the forecast.

Step 3
Pick out the points that you need to cover the most. Focus primarily on areas where you are over or under budget. These are the highlights you will want to address.

Step 4
Address areas where you will need to cut spending or increase earning goals to stay on budget. This will likely be the largest portion of your presentation. You may need to include a place in this portion for discussion on how you will address the shortcomings in the current budget and fiscal year.

Step 5

Create charts to include in a PowerPoint or Keynote presentation. These charts should include spending graphs and overages.

Agriculture report allows an individual to keep oneself informed about the latest happenings in the agriculture industry.
