ROLE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN ANTI-CORRUPTION

ABSTRACT
Corruption is defined as moral depravity and influencing through bribery. Essentially corruption is the abuse of trust in the interest of private gain.Instead of fighting against the menace of corruption our political leaders declare it a worldwide phenomenal and accept it as something inevitable, because of their selfishness. But now IT can be a prime weapon against corruption. Unfortunately India is a corrupt country, still because of immense young talent India is hoping to emerge as an IT superpower in coming years.

1. INTRODUCTION
1.3. Petty Corruption
Corruption is basically failure of moral duties. It creates huge impact to the countrys education occupation, living style and mostly the humanity. It has become a sway all over the world now-a-days. Corruption can be categorized in three types:Indicates all kind of corruption small or accidental that expresses a personal behavior more than a general regulation in the organization. Example-theft, bribes, favoritism, robberies.

1.1. Political Corruption


The public trust in democratic process in India is seriously undermined by opaque financing of electoral processes, wide spread bribery and other forms of corruption practices. The 2007 Global corruption Barometer revels that political parties are perceived by Indian citizens as one of the sectors most affected by corruption in the country with a score of 4.6 on a 5 point scale. Recent example of open politician corruption is is Note ke badly vote which deeply embarrassed our constitutional temple, parliament of India.

1.4. Systematic Corruption


This occur when organize administrative converts into corruptive administration ,in other word a network of corrupted people manages work and all elements in this network depend on the other.

1.5. Complete Corruption


It is the wide range of looting for public moneys and possessions through illusive transaction or payment for non existent merchandise. Also the transfer of public services to private ownership through the allegation of national advantage, bribes, commission, stealing etc..

1.2. Administrative Corruption


This phenomenon is one of the major problems that reports of experts and specialist highlight the necessity to comfront,encircle and cure especially in mentioning that this phenomena is not limited to developing countries but its exists also in developing societies as well .It has three types

1.6. Educational Corruption


It includes the abuse of authority for material gain. But because education is an important public good, its professional standards include more than just material goods hence it includes the abuse of authority for personal as well as material gain.
