Software for Ecosystem Modelling

There are a large number of sites on the internet where environmental hydrology tools can be downloaded. Many of these tools are in the form of modeling codes, while others are data analysis or formatting tools. The files are available as freeware, shareware, demos, or commercial software which must be purchased. I have tried to compile many of these sites on this page particularly those where PC based software can be directly accessed. I do not warranty the quality of any of these software nor the safety of the software (ie. viruses) and am not liable for any damage resulting from their use. Many of these programs are compressed to facilitate transfer via ftp. A popular compression protocol is implemented in the Winzip or WINZIP for MS Windows 95/NT shareware program.
