Registration for all programs begins on the date indicated. All registrations will take place in the Brick Township Department of Parks and Recreation Ofces, located in the Civic Plaza, 270 Chambers Bridge Road, unless otherwise indicated. Ofce hours are Monday through Friday from 8am until 4:30pm. Registration fees are payable by cash, check or money order only. Registration for programs will remain open until the maximum number of participants has been reached. All programs have a minimum enrollment. Adaptive Programming
The Department of Parks & Recreation is afliated with the New Jersey Recreation and Parks Association, the National Recreation and Parks Association and World Leisure and Recreation. The Township of Brick does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed and gender, nation of origin, age or disability in providing services to our residents. All residents are entitled to full participation in any of the Township of Bricks recreation programs. The Township of Brick will make reasonable accommodations for qualied individuals with disabilities, furnishing appropriate auxiliary aids and services upon request at no additional charge.
Facility Rentals
Brick Township has several municipal facilities available for rental for private purposes. Established fees and insurance requirements apply to all rentals. These facilities include: Windward Beach Park - located on the Metedeconk River, Windward Beach Park has three areas that can be rented by the public for exclusive use. These are the bandshell area, the gazebo and the picnic area. Bayside Park - located on Route 35 South on the Barnegat Bay, Bayside Park offers a gazebo area, playground and beautiful views of the Barnegat Bay and sunsets. Brick Beach III Pavilion - located on Route 35 North, the Brick Beach III Pavilion is covered and has amenities such as picnic tables and more. Drum Point Sports Complex - located on Drum Point Road adjacent to Drum Point Elementary and Emma Havens Young Schools, the facility has numerous athletic elds, a walking/jogging trail, restrooms, lighting and concessions. Civic Plaza - located at 270 Chambers Bridge Road, the facility has restrooms and an all purpose room. For rates and availability, please call 732-262-1073.

Parking stickers for Brick Beaches must be placed on back left bumper or rear window. Note: refunds or replacements will not be issued for lost or stolen badges. Badges and wristbands MUST be worn at all times on beaches.
Surf Chairs
Individuals with disabilities have the opportunity to reserve a specially designed wheel chair that will provide easy access to Beach I, Beach III and the Windward Beach bathing area. Call 732-262-1184.
Beach Bus
Bus transportation to Brick Beach I is available to Brick Township residents from June 18 until August 17 from the following locations:

Passengers should be at the bus stop prior to 9:30am. Bus departs from Beach I for return to point of origin at 2:30pm. Children under 13 shall not be permitted to board the bus unless accompanied by an adult. All riders ages 13-17 must have a season bus pass in order to ride without an adult. PLEASE NOTE: for the safety and comfort of all passengers, the Township of Brick reserves the right to remove and/ or refuse transport of any rider for unacceptable behavior
Brick Beach III - 440 Route 35 North While on Route 35 South look for Bayside Park which will be on your right hand side,
(approximately 2-3 miles past Mantoloking Rd.) Directly across from Bayside Park on 35 North is the parking lot for Brick Beach III. Brick Beach III has bathrooms, concession and parking lot. Brick Beach III is the southernmost Brick Beach.
Basketball Clinic
A clinic featuring drills to improve basketball skills. There are no games in this clinic. Limited to 30 children per class. Who:! ! Residents in 2nd through 8th grades Location:! Kick-Ball
New for 2012 - Kick-Ball! Registration fee includes 10 game season and t-shirt. Games will be held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings beginning at 6pm and ending at 7pm. Who:! ! Golf Instruction

The Parks and Recreation Department is always seeking support from the community to help offset the costs of these programs and keep them affordable for the families of Brick Township. Please bring bathing suit or wet suit, towels, waterproof sunscreen, hat, tshirt or cover up, snack and, if desired, dry clothes. Note: as safety is the top priority, camp schedule may change due to weather, tides or surf conditions. Make ups will be made at the discretion of the instructor.
Pickleball!
Pickleball is a fast growing sport that is popular among older Americans. It is a court sport that has been described as a combination of badminton, tennis and ping pong. it is played on a court with a perforated plastic ball and paddles. It is easy for beginners to learn and is accessible to people of all athletic abilities. This is a fun league; there will be no ofcial standings or playoffs. All equipment will be provided. Historic Bus Tour of Brick Township

The Brick Township Historic Preservation Commission 2nd Annual Bus Tour will take you on a tour of over 50 historical sites in Brick Township. This is a great chance to learn more about the history of our community. Tickets are $10 and must be paid in cash or check payable to the Township of Brick no later than Friday, September 28, 2012. Please drop off checks to Town Hall or mail them to: Historic Preservation Commission Attn: Meghan Burdge 401 Chambers Bridge Road Brick, NJ 08723 The bus will leave the Havens Farm, 515 Herbertsville Road at 1pm. Playgroup
Children develop learning and social skills while exploring arts & crafts and joining in games. Ages 3 1/2 - 4 1/2. Classes held on Tuesdays at either 9am-11am or 12pm-2pm. Kindercise
This is an interactive class in which parents participate in shared activities designed to help stimulate and develop large motor skills in the child. Activities include singing and parachute games. The Brick Youth Club is a component of the Brick Township Department of Parks and Recreation. It was formed in 2002 to provide citizens under the age of 18 with additional opportunities to enjoy enriching activities in a drug and alcohol free environment.

The YADP provides young people with the opportunity to develop artistic knowledge and skills in the area of creative writing, drama, visual arts and dance. Guild Theatreworks
Formerly known as The Brick Players, Guild Theatreworks mission is to encourage cooperation among and advancement of artistes, art students, actors, writers, producers, craftsmen, designers, publishers and all others engaged in artistic and theatrical activities through the production of theatrical events on the community level. Guild Theatreworks is always seeking new members to participate in their productions as performers, designers, technicians and musicians.
