Include path should have this lines first: ...\...SDK\Samples\Multimedia\DirectShow\BaseClasses ...\...SDK\include Libraries path should have this lines first: ...\...SDK\lib Required libraries are strmbase.lib (release) and strmbasd.lib (debug) in libraries path. If it is not shipped with SDK you can compile this project: ...\...SDK\Samples\Multimedia\DirectShow\BaseClasses\baseclasses.dsw (read MSDN about how to setup environment to use DirectShow Base Classes) AC3Filter project has dependency on the valib library project so by default directories should be configured as follows: ...\ac3filter ...\valib ...\valib\lib ...\valib\valib ac3filter project valib project valib library valib include & source files

You may checkout both modules from the CVS: CVS root: :pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/ac3filter Modules: ac3filter, valib Debugging: ========== If you need filter log complile debug filter version and import ac3filter_reg_debug.reg file into registry. After this filter will produce log output to c:\ac3filter.log file (you may change it at reg file). You may want to comment LOG_TIMING define at ac3filter.cpp because timing produces a lots of log output. ac3filter_reg_nodebug.reg file removes registry changes.
