NOVENA TO ST. ANTHONY OF PADUA It is the practice to pray the Thirteen Tuesdays before the feast of St. Anthony.

Begin in March, then end on the Tuesday before June 13th. You may conclude the Novena to St. Anthony with the appropriate prayer for the respective Tuesday. Say once a day for nine days, especially beginning on 4 June and ending on 12 June, the eve of the Feast of St. Anthony. ST. ANTHONYS PRAYER O White lily of purity, sublime example of poverty, true mirror of humility, resplendent star of sanctity. O glorious St Anthony, who didst enjoy the sweet privilege of receiving into thy arms the Infant Jesus, I beseech thee to take me under they powerful protection. Thou in whom the power of working miracles shines forth among the other gifts of God, have pity upon me and come to my aid in this my great need. (Mention your intentions here). Cleanse my heart from every disorderly affection, obtain for me a true contrition for my sins and a great love of God and of my neighbour that serving God faithfully in this life, I may come to praise, enjoy and bless Him eternally with thee in Paradise. Help me to acknowledge my trespasses against God and act as a compassionate and forgive person. I thank the Lord for my own unique existence and for the people I alone can influence for good during my lifetime.

PRAYER O Glorious St Anthony, Charitable Protector of all who call upon you, with filial trust I cast myself on your mercy. Look upon the misery that oppresses me, and by your intercession appease the anger of God, whom I have offended by my sins. Deliver me from the affliction that I may serve Him with a mind of peace. At the same time should this suffering be expedient for my salvation, I desire to be resigned asking you to obtain for me constant patience and entire conformity to the will of Him Who for love of us being Himself innocent gave satisfaction for the guilty. Novena to St. Jude Say once a day for 9 days, especially beginning on 20 October and ending on 28 October, the eve of the Feast of St. Jude. When the Novena is finished, you must publicly thank St. Jude for his prayers for you. This is often done by taking out a small ad in the Classifieds section of newspapers or by pritnig copies out and distributing them for people to know.
