Current FMP Students Youth Board is a group of highly motivated students who strive to better FMP through exemplary leadership and dedication to improve our groups environment. Its a 5 month commitment that requires involvement in and out of rehearsal. This includes, but is not limited to: attending monthly meetings, set-up/clean up and attending ALL FMP sponsored events, participation on a standing committee of the board, and a good attitude. Youth Board members are held to a high standard and are constant reections on FMP inside and outside of rehearsal. Application Process: " " " " " " " " " " 1. Paper Application and Written Responses - Complete all parts of the paper " application including ALL written response questions. Please answer the written response questions on a separate sheet of paper and attach to this application. 2. References - Select TWO non FMP staff members / family to complete the attached reference sheets. Attach these recommendations to your application. 3. Grades - Youth Board members must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Please provide the most recent copy of your semester / quarter report card. A signed GIP(grade in progress) form is also acceptable. 3. Interview - you will be asked to set up an interview with members of the Board of Directors. Interviews will be held on Sunday January 29, 2012 starting at 4:30pm. You will be contacted by email to schedule an interview time.
Your completed application packet is due January 23, 2012. Recommendations are due at the time of your interview on Sunday, January 29, 2012
When selecting Youth Board members for the 2012 season, the Youth Board application (written responses), references, and interview will be considered as well as rehearsal attendance and discipline record. All of these factors are reviewed before a nal decision is made. Please contact Ryan Warren, Youth Board Coordinator, by e-mail (ryan@yingmonkeyproductions.org) if you have any questions or concerns.
Help communicate and promote the FMP mission and programs to the community. Understand the policies and procedures of FMP. Once a month, a different member of the board will sit in on a meeting with the Board of Directors
AVAILABLE POSITIONS: Secretary - Responsible for taking notes at all meetings Publicity Coordinators (3) - Responsible for making flyers and posters and posting them at local businesses Historian - Responsible for taking photos at FMP events Social Media Coordinator - Responsible for maintaining and updating the FMP Facebook and Twitter pages Associates (2) - Responsible for assisting with all tasks presented to the Youth Board

What are the three most important qualities you possess as a leader? How will these skills enhance FMP and the Youth Board? 2. What would you consider to be FMPs greatest strengths? What is one thing you would like to help us improve upon? 3. Explain how you will effectively represent your fellow cast members as a member of the FMP Youth Board. 4. In your opinion, what sets FMP apart from other local theatre companies? Why do you choose to participate with us? 5. How will this commitment to the Youth Board t in with your current schedule?
