Schedule
EC-Type Examination Certificate PTB 00 ATEX 3116

(15) Description of the component Terminal boxes, series 8125/1... and 8125/2..., made of sheet steel or stainless sheet steel, for fixed installation, with - separately certified - line-up terminals for non-intrinsically safe or separately certified - intrinsically safe circuits. The empty enclosures used are tested as components and specified in EC Type Examination Certificate PTB 00 ATEX 3111 U Type 8125/1... can additionally be equipped with - separately certified - isolating terminals and/or fuses. The marking with the identification symbol of the types of explosion protection is to be adapted to the components used. For intrinsically safe circuits, the box or area around the box is marked, e.g. with light blue colour. Technical data Rated voltage: max. 1100 V (depending on the operating voltage range of the terminals used) -50 C Tamb +55 C -50 C Tamb +75 C min. IP 54 to EN 60 529: 1991

Ambient temperature range, max. for type 8125/1...: Ambient temperature range, max. for type 8125/2...: Contact, foreign particles and ingress of water protection:

Rated current, number of conductors and conductor cross section are stipulated in the ascertained supplementary sheets. Note The terminal boxes are suitable for an ambient temperature range of -20 C to +40 C. The suitability for deviating ambient temperature ranges is visible by special marking. Only such separately certified - gaskets and - separately certified - built-in and built-on parts, suitable for these temperatures, are used. Additional instructions of the manufacturer have to be followed. Terminal boxes containing fuses and/or, beside the usual non-intrinsically safe circuits, intrinsically safe circuits, are provided with an additional marking. (16) Test report PTB Ex 00-30039 (17) Special conditions not applicable Page 2/3
