The KM-4850w Business Print Centre with the optional Plotter/Scan System (E) also delivers the highest quality printing at 600 x 600 dpi resolution reproduced with 16 levels of output grey scale to ensure complete integrity of detail, with a print speed of up to 4.8 metres per minute. Through the optional KMScantool/ PlotClient Suite*, the KM-4850w Business Print Centre combines scanning, CAD output systems, that allow you to produce the widest range of high quality results consistently, on a variety of paper sizes up to AO.
HIGH QUALITY VERSATILE SCANNING The KM-4850w Business Print Centre with the optional Plotter/Scan System (E) allows the scanning function to deliver the highest detail resolution possible from documents as small as A4 through to A0 size: Scan to File functions allows you to save your documents electronically. Scan to Set and Scan Special Sizes of extremely large drawings and user defined formats. HIGH PERFORMANCE PLOTTING AND MANAGEMENT The KM-4850w Business Print Centre with the optional Plotter/Scan System (E) enhances your output performance and increases your control by expanding your plotting and management options: Plot from File allows you to plot from many file formats. Plot from Set allows you to plot from any set of drawings based on Set Script Language (SSL). Autoplot allows for automatic plotting from user defined directories. Pen Set Management provides variable and fixed settings of all relevant pen parameters. Banner Sheets create a leading banner sheet with all the relevant job information. Error Recovery provides an automatic resumption of the plot job after fixing the problem.

The Integrated Raster Editor*, standard with the optional Plotter/Scan System (E), enhances and protects the quality of your work by cleaning, erasing, filtering, deleting, deskewing and despecling unwanted details and damage from drawings, and allowing you to insert text where needed. Cut and Paste allows for cutting and pasting of predefined drawing sections. Raster and Vector are powerful functions that allow you to overlay raster and vector drawings. Variable Undo allows you to select the number of undo steps (up to 255) available. Set Compilation compiles drawings into sets and supports all popular formats for compiling single drawings into sets following the SSL specification.

The Media Key allows you to select from a variety of paper types such as plain paper, vellum, film, & custom.

The Copier / Printer Key allows you to switch to the printer or copier mode when the optional Plotter/Scan System (E) is installed.

The KM-4850w Business Print Centre protects your intellectual property and ensures that everybody knows whose work it is, by providing you with an unlimited and effective stamping facility. The Stamp Editor*, standard with the optional Plotter/Scan System (E), provides a wide range of options for the easy creation of user defined stamps with a preview capability for quality checking and control. Its many features allow you to use symbolic positions (eg. Upper left) with predefined offsets, invert, cover or transparent. You can use macros, texts and bitmaps, free rotation and automatic stamping for Scan to File, and Scan to Set. It allows you to select from all Windows installed fonts.

Automatic Roll Switching When one roll is used up, the KM-4850w will switch to the next available roll with the same width paper to provide uninterrupted operations for long runs. Easy Paper Loading The simple and user-friendly design of the KM-4850w makes for easy and quick paper loading. Scan Once Print Many This standard feature gives you the capability of scanning directly, instantly producing multiple copies from a single scan on an as needed basis. Easy Toner Loading A simple bottle that secures the toner hopper allows clean and simple loading. Wide Range Of Paper Sizes, Types, and Weights Handles originals from A4 up to 920mm width by 6,000mm long and up to 80gsm thick. Easy Feeding Originals The KM-4850w incorporates a feature, which allows the operator to select automatic or manual start of copying. Original scanning commences automatically or can be started manually so originals can be positioned with a high degree of accuracy.

Network Connectivity
The optional Plotter/Scan System (E) with its powerful 800MHz AMD Duron CPU and 256Mb memory ensures faster performance times. Network connectivity, with its automatic recognition for TCP/IP protocol, is via a 10/100Base-TX Network Card which allows for easy integration with almost all office networks.

The Editing Key allows you to select such functions as image shift, margin copy, border erase, mirror, & image rotation.
