Kids for Teacher 1K Fun Run

Rev up your tennis shoes and get ready to run your socks off for Mrs.Cox! The fun run is a fundraiser for our very own Mrs. Cox, First Grade Teacher at Gilmore. This year, all of the proceeds from the Fun Run will go to the Cox family to help defer medical costs as Mrs.Cox battles Colon Cancer. All students, parents, siblings, friends and neighbors are invited to participate. Awards will be given in Pre-K through 5th Grade age groups for boys and girls only. Excluded from registration fees are parent escorts and children under 3. Wheelchairs and strollers are allowed. However, for the safety of all participants, the course is closed to roller skates/blades, heelies, bicycles, and pets.

This event is not sponsored by Gilmore Elementary, but by individual friends and family members. All monies will be deposited into Annes Army account established at JSC Credit Union. FUN RUN WAIVER 1. I, the entrant, or my parent / legal guardian, do hearby assume all risks associated with my participation in this event and understand that the race consists of paved roads. I also waive and release Gilmore Elementary, all volunteers, sponsors and other participants in this race from any and all claims, suits, losses, demands, liability or causes of action for damages, including without limitation claims that may result in my personal injury or death, accidental or otherwise, arising directly or indirectly; damage to or destruction of my property, accidental or otherwise, arising directly or indirectly; or in any other way arising from my participation in this event. 2. I attest that I have full knowledge of the risks involved in this event, and that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained to participate. 3. I acknowledge that I have read this agreement and understand that it is a release of liability. 4. This entry is invalid unless signed by the entrant or by the entrants parent or legal guardian if under age 18. 5. If any photos are taken of myself / child, I authorize for them to be printed in any school or other publication.
