• Implemented an algorithm for performing linear convolution on two discrete functions on a Xilinx Spartan-3 FPGA.
• Adjudged one of the best projects in EC dept. Won second prize at Mini-Project Expo.

Implementation of Least-Mean-Square Algorithm for System Identification (Dec 2008-present)


• The project will implement the LMS algorithm for identifying unknown systems.
• The implementation will be on both DSP kit and FPGA for a comparative study.

• Chief organizer of state-level robotics workshop in March, 2007 in association with the Mumbai-based robotics firm, TRI
Technosolutions Pvt. Ltd. It was attended by more than 120 students from different colleges all over the state.
• Chief organizer of state-level Distinguished Lecture Program in March, 2007 on Renewable Energy Sources: Market Survey and
Applications by Dr. Saifur Rahman of Virginia Tech, USA and on Power Quality by Dr. Ashok of National Institute of Technology,
Calicut. It was attended by members of the academia and industry.
