May cause ↑ AST, ALT, serum alkaline phosphatase, ↑in
platelet and eosinophil
Be sure to teach the patient the following about this
medication
Report signs of super infection (black hairy tongue, loose
foul-smelling stool) allergy. If fever and diarrhea occur,
call dr., esp. if the stool contains blood, pus, or mucus. Do
not treat diarrhea without consulting a professional.
