Engagement 2 (discussion of the poem) Who is talking in the poem? Why does the writer said he/she love him/herself? What does he/she mean when he/she said Ive always been the perfect me, theres nothing to rearrange in the first stanza? What are the common causes of fears, tears and rage among children? According to the 3rd stanza, what should one do so that taking care of the world becomes easy? Using a mirror, how can you reflect or describe yourself in the line the change outside can only come when deep inside I know Im beautiful and capable of being the best me I can ? If you will take the general message of the song/poem, can you say that a person is contented of what he/she is now? Why do you say so? Are we perfect?(no) What should be done to make ourselves satisfy of what we are now? Do you/we need to improve ourselves? What shall w do with our weakness? Strengths? Apply certain musical tone on this poem to make it such a song.

Show a picture and ask the students, what can you say about the picture?. Then ask them to look around and tell what did you see and describe it. 2. Presentation a. Discussion - The words that describe are called adjectives. Adjectives can tell us how many, what size, what shape, what kind, how old, or what color.
