Dust Tactics Victorian Regional Championship 2012 June 17, 198-200 Mt Dandenong Road Croydon, VIC.

Tournament Organiser: Jayden Barr m: 0425 774 241 e: fattdex@hotmail.com

The tournament will be run according to the Dust Tactics Tournament Rules booklet, with randomly paired opposing faction first round draw and swiss chess draw thereafter. If player standings remain tied at the end of the event, the player with the highest Strength of Schedule will be the winner. If players have an identical total points and Strength of Schedule, the winner is the player with the highest Army Points Remaining. If uneven player numbers should occur, the Tournament Organizer will run a bye army during the day. The Dust Tactics Tournament Rules booklet is available from the following location: http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/ffg_content/dust-tactics/support/dusttactics-tournament-rules-web-v2.pdf You will need to bring a printed copy of the Tournament Record Sheet with your army lists filled out to use on the day. This sheet will be used throughout the day to record your results.

Models and Army Lists Players may use any Dust Tactics models with points costs that have been released before June 10th, 2012. Specialist models from www.dustgame.com that do not have a printed point cost on their card may not be fielded, unless the models are used as clear proxies for a unit that is using a Dust Tactics card with a printed points value. For example, the Japanese ''RYU'' SCHWER PANZER KAMPFLAUFER III-A (J) DUST-48 model may be used in the tournament if it is using the points costed axis Wotan card. Forces do not need to be painted, but forces that have been painted by the owner will be eligible for the player voted Players Choice painting award. Players must submit their army lists to the tournament organiser by the above date. Instead of submitting just one army list, players may optionally submit two army lists: an Attacker list and a Defender list, to use in scenarios that use Attackers and Defenders. Players facing each other during a scenario with attackers and defenders will make an initiative dice roll before the game begins, with the player scoring the most hits choosing what role they will take for the mission, and players will use their attacking or defending army list as appropriate. In scenarios where there is no defined attacker or defender, players will use their attacker army list.

Scenarios

The scenarios used will come primarily from the Operation Blue Thunder Campaign book, the round draw of scenarios will be revealed by the Tournament Organiser before each round. Copies of the scenarios will be made available for players on the day.
