The Philippine Green Pages (PGP) will serve as the countrys guide in purchasing environmentally preferable products. The general goal of the project is to provide a directory of environment-friendly products and services which can serve as guide to institutional buyers and individual consumers in making purchasing decisions. PGP will highlight the products environmental preferability using the concept of life cycle aspects wherein product category will be described based on which environmental issue is being addressed by the product, how the product addresses environmental issues and what part of the life cycle of the product the environmental claim occurs.
