destroy plastic An extension cord should not be used unless absolutely necessary. Use of improper extension cord could result in a risk of fire and electric shock If an extension cord must be used, make sure That pins on plug of extension cord are the same number, size and shape as those of transformer on charger, That extension cord is properly wired and in good electrical condition, and That you use a proper extension cord ONLY use cords listed by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and/or Canadian Standard Association (CSA) Other extension cords can cause a drop in line voltage, resulting in a loss of power and overheating of charger An AWG
(American Wire Gauge) size of at least 14gauge is recommended for an extension cord of 25-ft, or less in length Use 12 gauge for an extension cord of 50-ft Extension cords 100 ft or longer are not recommended

4. Make sure cord is located so that it
will not be stepped on, tripped over, come in contact with sharp edges or

EXTENSION CORDS USE PROPER EXTENSION CORD. Make sure your extension cord is in good condition. When using an extension cord, be sure to use one heavy enough to carry the current your product will draw. An undersized cord will cause a drop in line voltage resulting in loss of power and overheating. Table 1 shows the correct size to use depending on cord length and nameplate ampere rating. If in doubt, use the next heavier gage. The smaller the gage number, the heavier the cord.

CHARGING PROCEDURE
NOTE: Before using the tool, read the instruction book carefully. 1. CHARGING YOUR BATTERY PACK WARNINGiThe charger and battery pack are specifically designed to work together so do not attempt to use any other devices. The Li-ion battery is protected against deep discharging. When the battery is empty, the machine is switched off by means of a protective circuit: The chuck no longer rotates. WARNING: When battery charge runs out after continuous use or exposure to direct sunlight or heat, allow time for the tool to cool down before re-charging to achieve the full charge. 2. BEFORE USING YOUR CORDLESS TOOL Your battery pack is UNCHARGED and you must charge once before use. When you charge the new battery or one which has not been used for long periods of time, it may not reach full charge until after you have discharged it fully in use and recharge it several times. 3. HOW TO CHARGE YOUR BATTERY PACK (See A, B) Connect the battery charger to the power supply and the light (1) should turn to green. Then, put the charger base (2) on battery pack to make connections and the light (1) will turn to red to show charging has started, until the battery is fully charged. A discharged battery at normal ambient temperature will take approximately 3-5 hours to reach full charge. When charging is completed, the light(1) should turn to green, unplug the charger and remove the battery pack.
PROBLEM SOLUTION
1.1 CANNOT FIT THE BATTERY INTO THE BATTERY CHARGER. WHY? The battery can be inserted into the charger base only in one direction. Turn the battery around until it can be inserted into the slot, the red light should turn on when the battery is charging. 2. REASONS FOR DIFFERENT CHARGING TIMES The charging time can be affected by many reasons which are not defects in your product. 1) If the battery pack is only partly discharged it may be re-charged in less than 3-5hours. 2) If the battery pack and ambient temperature are very cold then re-charging may take more hours. 3) If the battery pack is very hot you must remove your battery pack from the charger and allow your battery pack to cool first to ambient temperature and then recharging can be started.
Note:
green = Power on or Fully Charged; red = charging;
