ECON1550 INTRODUCTORY ECONOMICS FOR ENGINEERING SEM 1 2011/2012 SECTION 1 COURSE ASSESSMENTS

PROGRESSIVE ASSESSMENTS (15%): Form a group of not more than 5 members. Complete and submit before or on the due dates the following tasks: 1. Assignment 1 (7 %) : topics 1-3. Due date: Week 4, Thursday by 4 pm. 2. Assignment 2 (8 %) : topics 4-7. Due date: Week 12 , Thursday by 4 pm. B. OPTIONAL ASSIGNMENT - NOT compulsory. There will be no make-up examination or additional assignment after the CAM is announced. Students are required to complete the following tasks: a. Prepare a list of microeconomics terminologies complete with appropriate diagrams for any 3 topics. b. Submit 2 solved problems for key questions from text book for the topic 8 and 10. The marks for optional assignments will be added to the overall CAM. Due date: Week 13, Thursday by 4 pm.
