Finishing
Wings need to be gathered at the center. To do so, beg by folding wings in half widthwise to find center. Mark with pin.Thread yarn needle with either CC or CC2. Leaving at least 2" of yarn free, make 2 to 3 consecutive running sts to one side of your pin. Sts should be worked from one long edge to the other.Without breaking off yarn, turn wings 180 degrees, so that your yarn tail extends outward, and make another line of 2 to 3 sts across the wing next to the line of stitching just made on the opposite side of your pin. Trim yarn tail so that it is the same length as opposite end.Yarn ends should extend off of the same side. Holding the yarn tails tog, gather the wings by pushing them back on the yarn. Secure ends and sew to the upper half of the body from the back. If desired, embroider eyes onto dragonys head using one of the wing colors. Attach pin back.
