02. INTRODUCTION
ABOUT SURAT The City of Surat is located in the southern part of Gujarat at 21 o 15' N latitude and 72 o 52' E longitude on the southern bank of River Tapi. The city forms a major urban core in the Ahmedabad-Bombay regional corridor, centrally placed between both the settlements, at a distance of 260 km. North of Bombay and 224 kms, South of Ahmedabad. Surat is situated on the banks of the Tapi and was one of the greatest Indian Ports during the Mughal regime. Today Surat is a booming industrial centre famous for textiles, Jari, brocades and is a very important diamond processing centre and can proudly claim to be one of the cleanest Indian cities with a glorious past and a bright future. Surat offers a wide range of places of interest ranging from historical to religious, educational to entertainment and art to industry. A unique Indoor Stadium in West India for the latest & International games in Surat. With a seating capacity of 7000 viewers, this massive fully air conditioned stadium is one of the key attractions of Surat. Inaugurated in December 1998, the complex boasts of all modern facilities and was built at a cost of Rs. 21 cores. The industries in Surat are traditionally dominated by small scale manufacturing units including diamond cutting, textiles, gold thread, dyeing and printing which were largely home based and cater to the domestic market. Diamond cutting and polishing, however, are for export market. The medium and large-scale industries are mostly located at the five industrial estates in and around the city. EN-VISIONS HISTORY The company was started by young and energetic entrepreneurs working with zeal in the field of environmental engineering with a vision of supporting clean and green environment and being a part of development that is sustainable to Environment. The Firm started in the name of Shah Doctor and Associates in the year 1992. It became En-Vision Engineering in 1996 and it worked for various engineering projects in the field of Pollution Control Technology, Structural Engineering, Water and Waste Water Treatment facility, Civil Engineering, etc. Finally in the year 2002, it took the shape of a private limited company and became En-Vision Enviro Engineers Pvt. Ltd. Since 2002, En-Vision Enviro Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is a constantly growing firm of highly motivated and energetic personnel. The technical staff of En-Vision is always ready to take up any challenge, led by talented and experienced Directors and guided by their technical Advisor, who have been pioneers in their areas of expertise.
