Point 2

How to get and use of genuine coolant

Purchase Komatsu genuine Supercoolant AF-NAC from Komatsu distributor. No need to add water when filling.

Komatsu distributor

Komatsu genuine Supercoolant AF-NAC 50/50 prediluted can be used at ambient temperatures from -30 to +50C.

Point 3

Check before starting engine

12

Before starting the engine each day Check for leakage of coolant around the engine. Check if the coolant in reserve tank is between the FULL and LOW marks. If the coolant level is low, add Komatsu genuine Supercoolant AF-NAC ONLY to the FULL level through the Filler port of reserve tank.

Do not open the radiator cap unnecessarily. When checking the coolant level, always wait for the engine to cool down and check the level in the reserve tank.

Point 4

Cleaning of radiator fins

Clean radiator fins periodically

If radiator fins are clogged, the engine may overheat and seize in the worst case. Therefore periodical cleaning of radiator fins is recommended.

Conclusion

Coolant must function to prevent corrosion and cavitation as well as freezing. Komatsu Genuine Supercoolant AF-NAC is excellent at preventing corrosion and cavitation, and has good antifreeze and cooling properties. It can be used for 2 years or 4000 hours without making replacement. Komatsu Genuine Supercoolant AF-NAC is strongly recommended for the cooling system.
