HPC 0800 Direct Drive

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The HPC 0800/ Direct Fan provide excellent efficiency in removing vapors and corrosive fumes in varying environmental conditions. The housing is molded fiberglass which insures excellent resistance to chemical and vapors attack as well as minimal friction losses within the fan inlet. This fan is direct driven by a 1/3 HP open drip proof motor. The motor has heavy duty ball bearings to provide dependable operation with minimal maintenance. Powerful, yet light and compact for ease of installation, this fan will provide outstanding services at an economical price.

The find RPM for the Direct Drive unit, use 1750 RPM from Performance Table on opposite page. NOTE: The motor will be a 1/3 HP motor instead of a 1/2 HP as shown.

HEE Environmental Engineering HPC 0800 fans are outstanding in the field of fan design. Aerodynamically designed housing and wheels generate a higher volumetric capacity resulting in reduced horsepower requirements and lower sound levels. Because of the noise deadening characteristics of fiberglass, sound levels are lower than comparative steel or coated steel equipment. Housing and all internal parts are fabricated from the highest quality, premium polyester resin to assure superior corrosion resistance in a wide variety of chemical applications. The discharge on both fans can be positioned to allow a variety of discharge locations in a counterclockwise rotation. The key to the outstanding performance of the fan lies in its aerodynamic design to insure airflow with a minimum of internal losses. Wheel design is all important for it must provide correct blade angles to insure efficient pressure rise and streamline airflow to minimize turbulence and sound levels. The HEE Environmental Engineering HPC 0800 wheel is molded polypropylene, utilizing the highest quality materials to assure the strongest, most reliable wheel construction possible. The heavy duty steel base is sandblasted to white metal, primed and coated with a highly corrosion resistant vinyl enamel paint. The nuts, bolts and washers used during the assembly of these fans are corrosion resistant type 304 stainless steel. A complete weather cover, designed to protect the motor, shaft, bearings, sheaves, and steel support base is available. The cover pivots at the rear for complete access to the drive train.

The quality of craftsmanship utilized in the construction and assembly of the HEE 0800 fans is emphasized by the finished product. The smooth exterior gel coat finish is an integral part of the construction of the fiberglass, and incorporated materials to provide weather ability, and prevent ultraviolet degradation from the sun. To insure reliability of the HEE fans, our equipment has been tested in an AMCA proved testing laboratory. The performance characteristics are based on test made in accordance with the Standard Test Code for Air Moving Devices published by the Air Moving and Conditioning Association. Each fan is factory run prior to as well as the test the bearings for proper operation, and the wheel for smooth operation.

HPC 0800 Belt Drive

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The HPC 0800 / Belt Driven Fan is designed to rapidly remove corrosive fumes and vapors from various industrial environments. The molded fiberglass housing provides an excellent chemical resistance to these contaminants. The belt drive can be changed to meet the needs of many exhaust systems. Self aligning ball bearing pillow blocks with grease fittings are standard equipment. Other bearings are available upon request. Minimum starting friction, simple maintenance and long, trouble free life expectancy make this fan ideal for your ventilation needs.
