Rationale The advent of small and portable microcomputers provides interesting new possibilities for the administration, acquisition and analysis of test data. In particular, there is a considerable saving in time if the data is transferred directly to the computer for plotting and analysis. In addition, since present day microcomputers have considerable processing power, it is possible to perform all of the processing power, it is possible to perform all of the interpretation using the same microcomputer. The advantages of doing this are several. Computerized analysis using automated techniques can provide good estimates from much shorter test data than is required for standard graphical analysis. Thus it is possible to analyze the test at the same time data is being collected. The advents of compact and powerful microcomputers, of computerized data acquisition and control, and of automated interpretation software represent major advances in the field of test item analysis. Paper and pencil tests are Fixed Item tests in which the examinees answer the same questions, in the same order. Analysis of the data accumulated from the administration of fixeditem tests have, in the past, been a time consuming task. Furthermore, ascertaining the reliability and validity of such tests involves extensive paperwork and re-tests which end up being expensive, and again, time consuming. The increasingly demanding nature of today's industry has necessitated the need for more timely and efficient information gathering and analysis. Dramatic changes in traditional data acquisition from transient testing have evolved to meet the current requirements of industry personnel. The current requirement for state-of-the-art data acquisition systems is to provide an expeditious progression from actual testing to subsequent

analyses. The common ingredient in making such a data acquisition system a reality has been the implementation of the microcomputer. With the advancement of technology, our group decided to proposed a computerized admission test for Colegio De La Purisima Concepcion to be facilitated by the Guidance Service Center in both the main and Blvd. campuses. Our group wants to implement and improve the current system by designing a computerized system for admitting student that could lessen the work of the guidance personnel in terms of calculating and retrieving the examination result. Examinees can easily get the result of their exam. Colegio De La Purisima Concepcion, a learning institution of the Archdiocese of Capiz, guided by the catholic ideas, and relying on the patronage of the Blessed Virgin Mary, envisions itself as a center of academic excellence, through its commitment to the development of the total person, by offering relevant and responsive academic programs.

Objectives The proposed system will be designed provide a computerized admission test in the guidance office of Colegio De La Purisma Concepcion with specific objectives as follows: To provide a content management system for the administration and creation of the questions in the exam To create an automated student profile page that is dynamically populated by each students' data

To provide an automatically generated break down of each examinee's performance on a per-question basis in comparison to every other examinee

To provide automated analytics for the data accumulated from the administration of the exam
