1 Preamble The Zanzibar Association of Tour Operators located on Zanzibar has the aim to improve the sales of touristic services in Europe and to sustainably promote these. To achieve this Zanzibar Association does a wide range of marketing activities and promotes the international cooperation through a steady dialogue with touristic partners on the domestic market and abroad. The Zanzibar Association of Tour Operators represents medium sized enterprises not only in Incoming but also in Outgoing tourism.
The asr Allianz Selbstndiger Reiseunternehmen Bundesverband e.V. represents the interests of selfemployed medium-sized businesses in the German tourism economy. It campaigns for the improvement of economic framework requirements in the classic tour operation. A main focus lies on the foundation of international partnerships.
The interests of both asr Allianz Selbststndiger Reiseunternehmen Bundesverband e.V. and the Zanzibar Association of Tour Operators complement one another in their targets whereabouts a lot of possibilities arise out of the cooperation. To encourage the exchange and partnership of both sides in the tourism sector the following cooperation agreement is set up:
The asr Allianz Selbstndiger Reiseunternehmen Bundesverband e.V and the Zanzibar Association of Tour Operators agree on a partnership that helps both sides to encourage a mutual and beneficial cooperation with the goal to enhance the interests of both parties and their members.

Both sides support the exchange of information and mutual contact of the members among each other and encourage the development of tourism by consensual interest.
3. To implement the above mentioned aims both sides agree on the following tasks, beginning in 2012: I. Specialization and qualification of tourism companies on both sides which advocate reliable and sustainable for a tourism development via a. Constitution of an information platform for touristic agencies on both sides II. Development of a marketing strategy with the comprehension of the potential of the German travel agencies III.
